Kylie and Kendall Jenner are ‘shocked’ seeing their other mom at Kris Jenner’s house

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe this! I’m seriously still freaking out. Kendall and Kylie were at their old house, you know, just hanging with family, and then…Caitlyn just showed up! It was totally a surprise, and they were both so shocked – like, completely stunned! I can only imagine how emotional it must have been for everyone. I’m living for this family moment!

During the October 30th episode of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner surprised viewers by extending an invitation to her ex-spouse, Caitlyn Jenner, for one last dinner at their former Hidden Hills home – a property they shared for fifteen years.

Standing with her daughters Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney, 69-year-old Kris said, ‘Your dad and I bought this house a long time ago, and I wish someone who should be here to say goodbye with us was.’

She mentioned it wouldn’t feel right without Caitlyn, and everyone was surprised when the 76-year-old former Olympian appeared.

Kris and Caitlyn ended their 22-year marriage in 2014, and share two daughters, Kendall and Kylie. A year later, in 2015, Caitlyn publicly shared that she is a transgender woman.

In a confessional, Kendall, 29, didn’t hold back about how unexpected the reunion was. 

‘I definitely wasn’t expecting my dad to be here, just knowing the relationship that my mom has with my dad — not that it’s bad, it’s just distant,’ she admitted.

Kendall went on to praise her mom for taking the initiative to bridge the gap. 

My parents have had a difficult relationship, and it’s been tough for my mom to invite my dad to family events. I’m glad that Kylie and I didn’t have to ask him to come this time – my mom decided on her own that it would be good for him to join us.

The model also discussed her relationship with Caitlyn, explaining that she’s had to establish healthy boundaries for herself.

‘I have to compartmentalize my relationship with my dad,’ Kendall confessed. 

Despite having a generally good relationship, I sometimes get frustrated with her because we often disagree and see things very differently.

Still, despite their differences, Kendall made it clear that family comes first. 

I always try to include her because I know she doesn’t have many activities or people outside of her family, and she often feels lonely. It’s just really nice to have her company.

Kendall’s honest words offered a touching look at her relationship with her father, and really highlighted how special Caitlyn’s unexpected visit was.

And it was clear from the stunned reactions that no one saw Caitlyn’s arrival coming. 

While speaking, Kris reminisced about her family’s time in their large home. She explained, ‘We originally bought this house hoping Kendall, Kylie, and all the kids would grow up here, and we were thrilled about creating lasting memories.’

‘That’s so true,’ said Caitlyn, making her first appearance on The Kardashians—the show that began in 2022 after Keeping Up with the Kardashians ended.

When the new show was announced, Caitlyn expressed disappointment about not being involved, saying she wished she could have continued. However, she also shared that she was happy for her family.

Thursday’s episode revealed just how last-minute her surprise appearance was.

Kris recounted a recent phone call with Caitlyn, saying she asked what Caitlyn was up to. Caitlyn replied she was having dinner and watching Fox News, which Kris found predictably typical, and she shared this with a laugh to the cameras.

I asked if she wanted to join us at El Dorado Meadow to say goodbye and spend time with her children. She replied that she was already on her way.

Kris explained in an interview that Caitlyn deserved to be included in the celebration because she shared those special memories with the family. Kris emphasized that the home wasn’t just hers, but a shared space for everyone.

After a lovely dinner—yes, even Rob Kardashian joined us—we all came together for one last picture in front of the mansion’s famous entryway. It’s a spot everyone recognizes, and we wanted to capture the moment!

It was so sweet to see the whole family there, especially all the little ones! Reign, Saint, True, Chicago, Dream, Psalm, and sweet baby Rocky were all part of this really special moment – it just warmed my heart to witness all those generations connecting.

As the night ended, Caitlyn hugged Kendall and Kylie, both 28, before returning to her house in Malibu.

In a closing confessional, Kris reflected on the significance of the night. 

It was a wonderful evening. I’m so glad we could all be together to say goodbye to the house where we shared so many happy memories—through all the good times and the tough ones. It meant a lot that Caitlyn was there too. It’s been a long journey, and this house was special to her as well.
