Kyle Sandilands’ six word response as  he breaks his silence about split with KIIS FM co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson

Kyle Sandilands has been seen publicly for the first time since Jackie ‘O’ Henderson left their radio show, ‘The Kyle and Jackie O Show’.

I saw the footage on Channel Nine – it showed Kyle Sandilands at his amazing house in Vaucluse. He’s been keeping pretty quiet there since they took him off his breakfast radio show, and it looks like he’s really laid low.

When a 9 News reporter asked Kyle if his career was over, he replied with just six words.

‘I can’t really speak mate, sorry,’ Sandilands replied. 

The famous radio personality seemed unusually cheerful, greeting news cameras with a wave before going inside.

Sandilands, wearing his typical black hoodie, seemed stressed as he talked on the phone.

The sighting follows reports that Sandilands is safeguarding his contract against termination. 

According to The Australian, Kyle Sandilands is threatening legal action against ARN if they cancel his $100 million contract after the end of his KIIS FM show, ‘The Kyle and Jackie O Show’. He has reportedly hired lawyers to prepare for a potential lawsuit.

The radio personality faced accusations of behaving badly after a heated argument with his colleague, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, which ultimately led to her resignation from the show.

Apparently, Sandilands was shocked by the accusation of inappropriate behavior. He was allowed to speak freely on air, and the show actually had two dedicated censors whose job was to prevent exactly this kind of problem.

According to reports, the radio personality claims ARN doesn’t have a valid reason to end his contract. He says the network previously agreed to take full responsibility for anything he said on the air.

According to a source at The Australian, Kyle Sandilands would only consider leaving his popular breakfast show if he received the remaining amount of his $100 million contract – essentially, everything he’s still owed.

Sandilands and Henderson signed a 10-year deal with Australian Radio Network (ARN) in 2023.

Okay, so get this – they snagged a reported $200 MILLION in that deal, it was insane! And can you believe they were making around $47,000 per episode? Seriously, $47,000! ARN, the company that owns KIIS FM, announced on Tuesday that Brittany Henderson’s contract, worth $100 million, has been cancelled. This decision came after Henderson informed executives she could no longer work with Kyle Sandilands following his on-air remarks which upset her greatly.

Sandilands has been suspended and given 14 days to ‘remedy’ the breach, or else faces termination.

ARN sent a written notice to Sandilands, informing him that his actions on the February 20th show were considered a serious violation of his contract with Quasar Media, as outlined in ARN’s agreement.

The KIIS breakfast show is ending right away, and temporary plans are being put in place to fill its timeslot.

ARN has offered Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the network.
