Kyle Sandilands’ ‘feud’ with Ben Fordham intensifies as shock jock mocks 2GB host’s OnlyFans scam claims
As a lifestyle expert with extensive experience in media dynamics and interpersonal relationships, I must say that the playful banter between Kyle Sandilands and Ben Fordham is reminiscent of a modern-day Laurel and Hardy act – albeit with a bit more edge. The duo’s constant jabs and pranks are not only entertaining but also serve as a testament to their camaraderie and mutual respect, despite the occasional heated moments.
On his radio program this past Wednesday, Kyle Sandilands playfully criticized Ben Fordham, poking fun at the allegations of fraud involving Fordham’s OnlyFans account.
47-year-old Fordham disclosed during his radio broadcast on Tuesday that he had fallen prey to a fraudulent incident involving unauthorized charges to his Commonwealth Bank account from an adult content website.
Currently, Sandilands, aged 53, has escalated his friendly rivalry on air by jesting that Fordham didn’t fall victim to a scam but rather purchased an OnlyFans account himself.
As a die-hard fan here, let me tell you, Ben! On my KIIS FM radio show today, I couldn’t help but express my thoughts: “Messy pup you are, Ben! Now, pay attention, because I’ve got some insights to unravel.
Have you ever casually strolled into a bank for a friendly conversation with the teller, only to find them reviewing your account activities? Nope, that’s not something that typically occurs.
Later, Sandilands admitted that he reached out to Fordham following his broadcast discussing the startling transactions towards a subscription platform frequently employed for purchasing explicit videos and pictures from adult entertainers.
In response, he stated, “He said, ‘Dude, what makes you think I’d join OnlyFans when I already have a beauty like Jodie? Why would I do that publicly? However, your point does make sense.'” So, it seems he’s finding ways to avoid the subject.
After receiving a screenshot of the genuine bank statement, he seemed overly defensive. I couldn’t help but think, “You sure are putting up quite the fight. It almost looks like you’re hiding something,” Sandilands humorously suggested.
Sandilands displayed the bank statement from Fordham to Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, a statement he claimed showed four individual $50 transactions directed towards OnlyFans.
Recently, Fordham experienced an ’embarrassing’ case of fraud related to OnlyFans, prompting him to advise Australians to verify their travel money cards to ensure they are not similarly affected.
The 2GB host visited his local Commonwealth Bank branch to close the accounts linked to his and his wife’s travel cards.
Fordham informed the bank clerk that he would no longer need the travel cards and requested a transfer of any remaining balances to his standard bank account instead.
Yet, upon accessing the account on their computer, Fordham promptly spotted ‘OnlyFans’ among the transaction history – a site where subscribers pay for access to adult-oriented content.
In a rather awkward exchange, Fordham mentioned that he had an interaction with the cashier, who seemed to be intentionally ignoring something.
In a slightly awkward situation, I told him, “Hey, I think you must get this a lot, but honestly, I haven’t used or spent any money on OnlyFans.
The bank employee told Fordham he had been targeted by a scammer.
The record of transactions indicated a $50 USD withdrawal to ‘OnlyFans.com’, followed by a prompt return to the same account.
Fordham and Sandilands have often enjoyed playful jabs both on and off the air.
In a recent disclosure, Sandilands detailed a physical dispute he had with his radio competitor, Ben Fordham, last week.
On the John Laws program, the duo made an appearance to debate the U.S. presidential election. However, the conversation turned sour when Fordham made a sharp remark directed towards the talk show host.
Sandilands responded to Fordham’s slam by throwing a glass of water in his face.
During the segment, Fordham expressed how privileged John Laws felt to have Kyle Sandilands providing insights on the American election, given that Sandilands is one of the notable experts on American politics.
‘I’ll throw this water in your face, b***h; I don’t care who you think you are,’ Kyle responded.
Fordham continued to bait Sandilands, telling him: ‘Have a go… you talk tough to the paparazzi.’
On Thursday, an audio clip from an incident where Fordham could be heard responding to getting drenched was played for listeners on the Kyle and Jackie O Show, revealing his reaction.
‘Oh, Lord,’ Fordham said after the attack.
Sandilands then told him: ‘Don’t ever push a Brisbane boy,’
During the replay, co-host Jackie O Henderson burst out laughing uncontrollably when Sandilands admitted that he had deliberately splashed water right into Fordham’s face.
