Kyle Sandilands has shared a worrying update after being diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.

53-year-old radio host disclosed on his KIIS FM program on a recent Friday that his doctor advised the sole approach to reach an aneurysm situated on the front right side of his brain involves opening his skull.

Additionally, he disclosed the necessity for another operation to extract an aneurysm discovered in his chest area.

He explained that the aneurysm in question is situated at a Y-shaped junction, specifically at its uppermost point. Due to its peculiar shape, surgical intervention has been restricted. The sole approach to access it involves opening the skull, as he shared with co-host Jackie O Henderson.

It implies that such a procedure would result in a long scar running from my forehead to my upper ear, and they’d need to create an opening in my skull to reach my brain, where they would then remove a section.

Kyle shared that the doctor suggested he should let it grow and keep an eye on it, as this approach may reduce issues in the future when it becomes larger.

Option: “Once I perform any action, my risk significantly increases,” Kyle explained, adding that he was advised to use the weekend for contemplation. Prior to this, he disclosed his requirement for another operation.

“Performing an action raises my risk considerably,” Kyle clarified, mentioning he should take the weekend to ponder over it. Subsequently, he admitted that he requires a second surgery.

He disclosed that his physician has forbidden him from using cocaine, engaging in sexual activities, self-pleasure, lifting heavy weights, and experiencing excessive stress.
