Kyle Richards reveals how she met and became close friends with Kesha as she gushes about the pop singer

In this digital age where social media platforms have become virtual meeting points, it’s heartening to see two talented individuals bond over shared interests and mutual respect.
Kyle Richards opened up about how she became close friends with Kesha.
During a recent live broadcast on Amazon, the well-known personality from reality TV, aged 55, shared the story of their meeting and detailed how their friendship blossomed.
During a live stream with her guest Nurse Jamie on Tuesday, she mentioned that they first connected after following each other on Instagram and engaging in online conversations, eventually leading to their meeting in person, which happened to be with the Joyride singer who is 37 years old.
Over the weekend, a star from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, amidst persistent relationship speculations, revealed that singer Kesha was among her earliest followers on social media.
‘She was following me on Instagram and then I followed her back,’ she said.
After exchanging messages, they agreed to get together for a meal sometime.
‘We messaged each other and we got together for dinner,’ the Halloween actress said.
She praised her dear friend, saying, ‘She’s incredibly gifted and kindhearted.’ They crossed paths and became close as a result.
In the course of her live broadcast, Richards also recognized her good friend Morgan Wade and extolled the song that they collaborated on with Kesha.
She said: ‘[Kesha] did a song with Morgan Wade. That’s a beautiful song [called] Walked on Water.’
The song appeared on Wade’s fourth album titled “Obsessed,” which was well-received by Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, the eldest daughter of Richards. (Paraphrased from the original sentence)
On September 1st, the 35-year-old reality TV personality expressed being deeply captivated by the song and offered congratulations to the two artists featured in her Instagram post’s caption.
It’s unclear exactly how long Richard and Kesha have been friends, but they were all seen attending an Oscars viewing party hosted by the Elton John AIDS Foundation alongside Avril Lavigne in March.
After that, they’ve embarked on a ski adventure in Aspen, Colorado, and also had a tattoo session together at Richard’s residence in Encino.
In late April, I too found myself tagging along with Richards, joining the lively gathering at Neon Carnival. Notably, my presence there was to spend time with Paris Hilton, her beloved niece. (Kesha joined Richards’ and I was there to hang out with her niece, Paris Hilton, at Neon Carnival in late April.)
They were also spotted enjoying a glamorous girls’ night out in Beverly Hills together in May.
In July, Richards stood up for her friend during a conversation with TMZ, as Kesha was being criticized for her body on social media.
Richards expressed his bewilderment in 2024 over the unkind remarks directed at Kesha on her social media platforms, adding that she is stunning both externally and internally. In simpler terms, he was saying that he didn’t get why people were being mean to Kesha in 2024, as she was truly beautiful, not just physically, but also inside.
She added: ‘I don’t know why people are still talking about women’s bodies. It’s 2024, they need to move on.’
