Kyle Richards confirms she was ‘in a relationship’ after Mauricio Umansky split but ‘gossip’ ended it

On Thursday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards revealed to Erika Jayne that she had started dating someone after her separation from Mauricio Umansky, and that she had strong feelings for them.

The reality star, 56, shared in a private interview that she was going through a difficult time when she started dating someone and quickly became very invested in the relationship.

When I fall for someone, I’m very open about it. I believe in sharing my feelings, and I’m naturally a pretty open person. However, just because I feel that way doesn’t mean they necessarily feel the same way back.

Honestly, it breaks my heart, but it sounds like all the rumors and constant chatter were just too much for him. He’s hinted that he could have handled things privately, but the relentless attention was clearly something he couldn’t deal with, and I understand why. It’s just so sad to see it end this way.

It’s clear she was being careful with her pronouns while describing this love affair. 

In August 2023, just a month after announcing her separation from her husband of 27 years, Kyle Richards appeared in a music video for Morgan Wade’s song “Fall in Love with Me.” The video featured intimate moments between the two, including a kiss, playful feeding, and a bubble bath.

It was her 31st birthday on Thursday, and the country singer celebrated by posting a video on Instagram of herself working out – doing pull-ups and deadlifts at the gym.

It’s been months since anyone has publicly seen Richards with Wade, despite the fact they both have matching rings and heart tattoos.

Jayne described the strange experience of unexpectedly finding love after nearly three decades of marriage, but being unable to share those feelings with anyone.

This is a difficult situation. Even though the relationship has ended, people will continue to press Kyle for answers until she fully explains what happened.

The 54-year-old also shared that she believes Kyle is being more honest with herself than ever before. She’s become open, understanding, and willing to show her feelings, and I’m very proud of her, she said.

Later in the episode, the socialite, who is from Hollywood, was upset that the 55-year-old real estate developer rented a new home without talking to her about it first.

Okay, so Kyle’s husband, Mauricio, is seriously driving me crazy! Apparently, Richards said he was being totally reckless and insensitive, basically flaunting attention from multiple women at the same time! Can you believe it? She specifically called him out for being all over this Russian actress, Nikita Khan, and some Instagram model, Klaudia K., like it was some kind of show! It’s just… disrespectful, and I’m honestly shocked! I’m team Kyle all the way, and this is just awful to watch.

The former couple share three daughters: Sophia, 25, Alexia, 29, and Portia, 17. She also has a 37-year-old daughter, Farrah, from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie, which ended in 1992.

Kim Richards will appear in a guest role as Celeste in the fourth season of The Lincoln Lawyer, a 10-episode legal drama created by David E. Kelley. The new season will begin streaming on Netflix on February 5th.
