Kyle Richards Calls Out Garcelle Beauvais for Shocking Sexuality Comment!

Kyle Richards believed that Garcelle Beauvais was acting in a disrespectful manner regarding her remark about Kyle’s sexuality on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Her comments took place on Tuesday’s After Show – following the latest episode of the series.

In the television program, I found myself sharing my feelings regarding my separation from my estranged spouse, Mauricio Umansky, at age 56.

Garcelle, at 58 years old, cut in and declared she would speak candidly without mincing words. She then advised her: “Feel free to do as you please, be who you wish to be. If you choose to identify as a lesbian, embrace that identity.

Kyle appeared taken aback by the remarks, while Erika and Sutton Stracke likewise seemed entirely stunned by Garcelle’s audacious statements.

Kyle consistently maintains that she isn’t romantically linked with her friend, renowned country artist Morgan Wade.

During the After Show, Kyle, who was seated with co-star Erika Jayne, reflected on the moment. 

In the After Show, Kyle expressed his thoughts as, “At that moment, I was thinking, ‘You’re acting quite rudely,’ directed towards Garcelle.

Adding: ‘Don’t try to act like oopsie daisies. You know exactly what you’re doing.’ 

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but suspect that Garcellle might have been attempting to provoke me. However, what truly piqued my interest was, where exactly was this leading?

She added that Garcelle didn’t apologize to her. 

Garcelle was on the After Show as well, seated with co-stars Sutton and Jennifer Tilly.

Garcelle gave more context behind her comments.

In the context of that evening, what I meant by my statement was that we are mature adults. We are mothers to some and grandmothers to others, Garcelle explained.

‘I wasn’t pushing her to come out. What I was saying is be whoever you want to be,’ she added. 

Garcelle expressed, “I’m not criticizing her, but rather encouraging authenticity. It seems to me that Kyle places great importance on others’ opinions and the impression she makes, as she struggles to navigate through these challenges.

The actress mentioned that at their stage in life, women can be less concerned with others’ opinions because the audience tends to relate better when individuals are true and genuine to themselves.

‘If this is who you are or even if you’re discovering it, discover it and own it,’ Garcelle said.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star separated with her husband Mauricio Umansky in July 2023.

For the past 27 years, Richard and Umansky have been a loving couple, blessed with three beautiful daughters named Alexia (age 28), Sophia (age 24), and Portia (age 16).

The star also shares daughter, Farrah, 36, with ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.

Kyle and Wade started spending time together in February 2023. This was when the musician was featured in a joint photograph that the social media personality posted on their Instagram account.

Kyle wrote in the caption, “After enjoying Morganwademusic’s tunes during my road trip from Utah to Colorado, I followed her on Instagram. Today was our first meeting in person, having initially connected through her music and the #housewivesofthenorthpole!

The mother of four summed up her thoughts as, ‘Some might consider it unusual, but family bonds transcend all limits.’

Kyle is creating a documentary about Morgan that delves into several aspects of her life. This includes detailing her journey to stardom, her struggles with substance abuse, and her decision for a double mastectomy, which was necessitated by a gene defect that elevates the likelihood of cancer.

TMZ reported at the time that Richards is the executive producer and will also appear on camera.

In July 2024, Richards clarified that there was no romantic relationship with Morgan and confirmed to TMZ that she was in a non-dating status.

On the topic of Morgan, she also insisted to the outlet that they were ‘very good friends.’

During season 13, Wade made an appearance on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills; however, she opted out of participating in season 14, as Kyle shared with Page Six in November.

She mentioned that it was necessary for them to decrease their time together due to Kyle’s filming schedule and Wade preferring not to appear on screen.

She expressed that she believed the person didn’t wish to involve herself in my reality TV role or its associated aspects. The constant attention from paparazzi was particularly intense, and she acknowledged it as overwhelming. However, since she doesn’t have control over other people’s lives and experiences, especially when they haven’t chosen to be part of this public spotlight, she respectfully chose not to discuss their personal situations. In a similar scenario, anyone would likely feel overwhelmed, she added to the outlet.

Over the New Year, Kyle was observed in Aspen with her former partner, Mauricio, and their kids. This comes after news broke about her being distressed when Mauricio was caught kissing a swimsuit model in Aspen.
