Kyedae is quitting streaming indefinitely: “I’m kind of done with streaming”
Kyedae playfully hinted at stopping her live streams, fueling discussions about whether her intense VALORANT competition could be the cause.
Approximately a month since her last broadcast, Kyedae Alisha Shymko, also known as Kyedae, made a comeback on Twitch, immersing herself once more in VALORANT matches alongside her boyfriend and ex-professional player, Tyson Ngo, famously known as TenZ. Throughout the stream, she provided insights into her experiences within the competitive world and broke some heartfelt news to her fanbase: Kyedae has decided to step away from streaming entirely.
“One foot is out the door.”
At the start of her live broadcast on Twitch, Kyedae made it clear that this wasn’t a return after a 24-day break from streaming. She requested her audience to adjust their expectations as she would be absent for at least another month. The chat began to wonder if Kyedae was planning to stop streaming altogether. In response, she chuckled and replied, “Well, one foot is sort of already on the way out.
Despite Kyedae not providing a detailed explanation for her decision to stop streaming, many spectators suspect it’s connected to her recent involvement in the competitive scene. During the broadcast, she confirmed that she was finished with streaming and bid farewell to her viewers by saying “Goodbye, everyone.
Later on, I decided to take a break from streaming on X, as I’m focusing on other aspects of my life. To be honest, I haven’t felt this content and serene in ages. Additionally, I’ve been dealing with some health concerns lately, which led me to make this decision. In the spirit of transparency, I also want to share that I’ll be diving into the competitive scene.
Kyedae’s competitive experience
As a gamer, I’ve been proudly representing Teevee in the Game Changers 2025 North America: Stage 1, and let me tell you, it’s been an incredibly gratifying journey for me. Playing VALORANT off-stream has turned out to be just what the doctor ordered for my mental wellbeing. I can honestly say that my communication skills and positioning have seen significant improvements, but there’s still room for me to fine-tune my movement. All in all, I’ve grown into a much better player, and I’m excited about where this journey takes me next!
If Kyedae decides to stop streaming, it doesn’t mean an end to enjoying her gameplay. In fact, you may have a chance to see her compete professionally. If you’re eager to catch a glimpse of her team and performance, take a look at this scrim video, where Tenz was also present. We’re quite thrilled about the fresh phase of her career journey.
