KRU couldn’t stop history – aspas sets a new record!

In yet another historic moment, Asppas surpassed his own record for the highest number of kills in a Best-of-3 match within VALORANT. Can MIBR manage to outperform Sentinels in their upcoming encounter?

Exceptional talent like Erick “aspas” Santos repeatedly sets new standards, as demonstrated by his record-breaking performance in a best-of-three (Bo3) game – making him the Valorant player with the highest number of kills ever recorded. This Brazilian prodigy continues to underscore why he’s revered as one of the world’s top duelists. As we gear up for the VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025, aspas faces a formidable challenge: triumphing over Sentinels.

Aspas breaks his own record

Last year, while playing for Leviathan, Aspas set a new record for the highest number of kills in a best-of-three (Bo3) game within VALORANT history, achieving an astounding 78 kills against Cloud9. Notably, he achieved this impressive feat across 74 rounds and pushed the map to a dramatic overtime with a final score of 18 x 16.

On February 7th, he shattered his previous record by eliminating 82 opponents in just 66 rounds (without extra time) against KRU Visa, securing a 2-1 series win for MIBR. Surprisingly, he attributes his success to his wife’s breakfast! In the grand scheme of things, aspas achieved 82 kills, suffered 26 deaths, and notched 7 assists – all impressive figures. His exceptional performance left everyone in awe, propelling his team towards another glorious victory!

Next challenge: Sentinels

Following his impressive showing against KRU, Aspas garnered significant attention across various social media platforms. Alexander “jawgemo” Mor, who played a crucial role in qualifying G2 Esports for the upcoming international tournament, responded to Aspas’ post with the comment “one more.” Moreover, even Tyson “TenZ” Ngo, a former Sentinels professional player, posted an X comment expressing his admiration for Aspas’ performance: “Aspas masterclass, good luck Zellsis.” On February 7th, Sentinels and MIBR will face off in a best-of-five (Bo5) match to secure a place at the VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025 event.

In the previous year, Aspas surpassed yet another record by registering an impressive 47 kills in a solitary game versus the Sentinels. Can he repeat this feat? We’ll just have to find out!
