For Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Anthology Series or Movie the nominations were: Jodie Foster for True Detective, Brie Larson in Lessons in Chemistry, Juno Temple in Fargo, Sofia Vergara for Griselda and Naomi Watts for Feud.
2017 saw exceptional performances by Matt Bomer in “Fellow Travelers,” Richard Gadd in “Baby Reindeer,” Jon Hamm in “Fargo,” Tom Hollander in “Feud,” and Andrew Scott in “Ripley” as the Lead Actors in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
In the category of Exceptional Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Jennifer Aniston from The Morning Show, Carrie Coon from The Gilded Age, Maya Erskine from Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Ana Sawai from Shogun, Imelda Stanton from The Crown, and Reese Witherspoon (once again) for The Morning Show were all nominated.
2022 saw several exceptional actresses excel in their leading roles within the Comedy Series category: Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Selena Gomez (Only Murders In The Building), Maya Rudolph (Loot), Jean Smart (hacks) and Kristen Wiig (Palm Royale).
The nominees for Outstanding Reality Competition Program went to Amazing Race, RuPaul Drag Race, Top Chef, The Traitors and The Voice.
This year’s ceremony will take place less than a year after the 75th edition of the show.
The event was postponed from its original schedule in September 2023 and happened instead in January, as a result of the writers’ and actors’ strikes.

The esteemed Jesse Collins, Emmy Award winner and Dionne Harmon, also an Emmy Award laureate, along with Jeannae Rouzan-Clay, who has been Emmy-nominated, all hailing from Jesse Collins Entertainment, will be returning as executive producers for this prestigious event.
This marks their second consecutive year as producers of television’s biggest night.
