Kristin Davis has apologised to Bridget Moynahan for snubbing her on the Sex And The City set.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what Kristin Davis just said! She was talking about how she treated Bridget Moynahan when Bridget played Natasha – you know, Mr. Big’s *first* wife! Apparently, Kristin was thinking about how she acted towards Bridget both on the original *Sex and the City* and even on the new *And Just Like That* series. It’s just… fascinating to hear her reflect on that whole dynamic! I’ve rewatched those scenes a million times, and now to hear *her* talk about it… I’m obsessed!
During an appearance on the iHeartRadio podcast ‘Are You A Charlotte?’, she explained that when guest stars – typically male – were on set, she’d make an effort to be welcoming and friendly. She described it as a way to ease what she felt was a potentially intimidating situation for them.
Kristin Davis realized she’d subconsciously adopted Charlotte’s perspective on life because her character on the show often served as a foil to Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.
Kristen added: ‘I don’t think I was that nice to you. I feel really bad about that, Bridget.’
Fortunately, her old co-star wasn’t upset and responded with a cheerful ‘It’s all good!’ She even added, with a laugh, ‘Don’t stress about it!’

The actress from Coyote Ugly said she was puzzled by Kristin’s sudden friendliness, but they later became friends while working out at the gym.
She recalled: ‘We would run into each other at the gym all the time.’
Kristin shared that by that point, they had stopped acting and she was able to simply be herself.
She admitted feeling embarrassed when she started to confuse her character’s experiences with her own reality, especially when it came to physical sensations like bleeding.
You know, as a friend, I’ve always been fiercely protective. If I ever sensed someone was a threat to my friends, I wasn’t afraid to stand up to them – I definitely didn’t let things slide. Loyalty is huge for me, and I always prioritized defending those I care about.
Bridget noted that Kristin isn’t alone in finding the storyline difficult – lots of fans have strong opinions about Natasha, Mr. Big, and Carrie too.
She said: ‘Because they all love Big and Carrie together and somehow I was in the way.
I sometimes found myself saying aloud, “Wait, she was having an affair with my husband. Let’s think about this logically.”

This news follows Kristin’s statement that she and her fellow cast members were completely surprised to learn the show, *And Just Like That*, wouldn’t be continuing after three seasons, and that she was deeply upset by the decision.
The show, a continuation of the popular Sex and the City series, premiered on Sky and HBO Max in 2021, bringing back Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Cynthia Nixon as their beloved characters.
As many of you know, Kim Cattrall, the wonderful actress who brought Samantha Jones to life, wasn’t part of the reboot after a very public disagreement with Sarah Jessica Parker. It was a bit of a surprise, honestly. However, I was pleased to see her make a brief appearance in the second season – a little nod to her iconic character that many fans, myself included, appreciated.
Fans were surprised last month to learn the reboot had been unexpectedly canceled.
After the show’s last episode aired, Kristin, age 60, shared that the cast members were just as surprised by the recent news as the audience was.
Okay, so I was *listening* to Kristin on Drew’s show, and she basically confirmed everything we fans have been suspecting! She said, and I quote, it’s ‘definitely true’ that *nobody* on set – not the actors, not the crew, *nobody* – had any idea if the show was going to get renewed after they finished filming season three! It’s just… it’s so crazy to think they were all filming, giving it their all, with no clue if it was the end! I’ve been saying it all along, but to hear her confirm it? It’s just… *everything*.
The actress explained that they had agreed to work together for three years, and she simply expected that arrangement to continue beyond that initial period.
‘That’s how I am.’
The debut of ‘And Just Like That’ received varied reactions, but Kristin Davis was deeply upset when showrunner Michael Patrick King announced in August that the series would be concluding.
The actress, known for playing Charlotte York since the original *Sex and the City* debuted in 1998, shared on Instagram that she was deeply saddened.

I’m so grateful for our incredible cast and crew – 400 talented people poured their hearts into making this show. And to our amazing fans, we appreciate your unwavering support and love you endlessly.
The show concluded with a two-part finale at the end of its third season, and King believed it was the appropriate time to end the series.
In a post on HBO Max’s social media, he announced that the story of Sex and the City is concluding with the current season.
As I was finishing up the writing for the third season of ‘And Just Like That…’, I started to feel like it was a really satisfying point to wrap things up. It just felt like a natural and good place to leave the story, and honestly, it felt right.
We’ve decided to conclude the series this year with a two-part finale, working with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys, and Sarah Aubrey. We also increased the number of episodes from the original 10 to 12.
Sarah Jessica Parker and I decided to wait to share this news because we didn’t want the idea of it being ‘the end’ to ruin the enjoyment of watching the season unfold. We’re incredibly thankful to all of you who’ve welcomed these characters into your lives and hearts over the years – it means the world to us!
