Kristin Chenoweth shared a loving kiss with her husband, Josh Bryant, at the after-party for her Broadway show, The Queen of Versailles. The celebration took place Sunday at The Palm restaurant in Midtown Manhattan.

The award-winning actress, 57, is fourteen years older than the guitarist she met in 2016. She had hired his band, Backroad Anthem, to play at her niece’s wedding.

Chenoweth describes Bryant as her steadfast support system, someone who was there for her through both the difficult and happy times after she publicly supported Charlie Kirk and made her comeback to Broadway after ten years.

The star of ‘Wicked’ expressed gratitude to the audience for attending the premiere of their new show on Sunday at the St. James Theatre. They shared their excitement and pride in the final result, describing it as a bold and successful undertaking.

The cast often tells me I inspire them, but I feel the same way about them – we really support each other, and it feels like a family. It’s going to be incredibly difficult when it’s time to finish this project.

Due to financial difficulties, the documentary The Queen of Versailles ended its run two weeks ahead of schedule. It didn’t earn enough money to cover its $22.5 million production costs, leaving 150 people without jobs, reports the New York Times.

It’s ironic and frankly upsetting that the conversations surrounding our show’s cancellation ended up repeating the very problems we were trying to address. Even with all the negative and painful comments following our announcement, that contradiction remains true.

Fans in the LGBTQAI community expressed feeling let down by Chenoweth after she publicly mourned the death of Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist who was against LGBTQ+ rights. Kirk was killed on September 10th.

I’m incredibly saddened. While we didn’t always see eye-to-eye, I valued his viewpoints. This is truly heartbreaking, especially for his young family. I believe he’s in Heaven now, but it’s still difficult to accept,” the writer, who described herself as a non-judgmental and liberal Christian, shared at the time.

This was a truly heartbreaking and senseless tragedy. Sending heartfelt prayers to the Kirk family and to everyone across the country.

Kirk was fatally shot at age 31 while giving a speech at Utah Valley University. He was on the first stop of his 15-city American Comeback Tour, during which he invited college students to debate him.
