Kristin Cavallari’s Rare Saylor Moment

In the past year, Kristin Cavallari has softened her previous strict approach regarding her and her ex-husband Jay Cutler’s three kids not appearing on social media.

And on Tuesday, the reality TV star, 38, shared a rare look at her nine-year-old daughter Saylor.

In the kitchen of their Tennessee house, Cavallari posted a short video on her Instagram Story, capturing moments of them both working on a strawberry dessert together.

She filmed Saylor carefully slicing strawberries in half with a knife on a cutting board.

‘My little helper! Chopping ’em up!’ narrated Cavallari, who boasts nearly 5million followers.

Much of Saylor’s face, which was captured in side-profile, was covered by her long, blonde hair.

The youngster, who is the youngest child of Cavallari and Cutler, was wearing a black hoodie along with white shorts.

In the subsequent video, Saylor is shown chasing after her mother while Kristin discusses her oven’s heat adjustments with her Instagram followers.

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but reminisce about the union between Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler. Despite parting ways in 2022 after almost a decade together, their bond created beautiful memories, such as the arrival of Saylor in 2015. This was followed by the births of our little champions, Camden (age 12) and Jaxon (age 10).

In the heart of December 2024, I chose to unveil the very first glimpse of my precious little one’s face on social media platforms, a moment I hold close to my heart.

Spectators swiftly labeled her as a smaller version of Cavallari, due to their striking resemblance in facial structure and Saylor’s golden locks.

She quickly took a picture revealing the child sporting the message “GO PREDS” marked on her face, as they participated in an NHL ice hockey match.

In recent months, a series of images featuring Saylor, often captured from the side or with only part of her face visible, have been included in Cavallari’s Instagram posts that she refers to as “photo collections”.

The surprising move followed as she permitted her oldest child, Camden, to join her on-camera for an Instagram live stream.

She’s also since allowed Jaxon to make his social media debut.

Approximately two weeks past, Cavallari posted a charming sneak peek of her ‘date night’ with Jaxon on her Instagram Story.

On Friday, she posted a video to her Instagram Stories, showing her having a meal with her youngest son at Hattie B’s Hot Chicken.

Kristin mentioned in the video that she was trying Hattie B’s for the very first time, which is the famous hot chicken in Nashville. Despite living there for so many years, she hadn’t tried it before.

She wondered if it was warm, addressing Jaxon as he munched on his chicken tender. “No, it’s not very so,” he replied.

However, Kristin admitted that it was ‘a little spicy’ for her.

She then gave it a thumbs up, stating that despite the spiciness level, it was ‘so good.’

After posting the video, she shared a picture of them holding chicken tenders, captioned, ‘Hold on, seriously, incredibly delicious!’

Ever since she became a mother in 2012, Cavallari has been dedicated to preserving the privacy of her three children by concealing their facial features in all her social media uploads.

The star has concealed her children’s identities by posting pictures where they are partially hidden or by covering their faces using emoticons/objects.

When Camden’s face was revealed publicly for the first time in September, many of Kristin Cavallari’s followers thought she had accidentally posted it and bombarded her inbox with messages.

While her fans expressed their worries, she made it clear in a subsequent Instagram Story video that the unveiling of Camden’s face was intentional.

I want to thank everyone who sent me messages about recognizing Camden’s face in my posts. I’m aware of it.”

The Hills alum then went on to say…

Currently, she mentioned that Camden wishes to be visible on social media from now on, and she believes he’s matured enough to make such decisions independently.

Cavallari clarified that his age has advanced slightly, and the sole motivation for doing so was to introduce him to social media.

I’ve chosen not to reveal [something] to my children yet, so they can make their own decision when they grow up.

Cavallari’s casual approach to sharing her children on social media is surfacing as she prepares for her upcoming return to reality television.

It came out last month that Cavallari will appear in the upcoming reality show, “Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour,” which is set to air on the E! channel.

Five years have passed since my first E! series, “Very Cavallari,” concluded in 2020. Throughout the three-season span of that show, I didn’t include any scenes featuring my children with Jay Cutler.

On the latest installment of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, she verified that Saylor, Jaxon, and Camden will make an appearance on “Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.

In her own words, she expressed that ‘Very Cavallari’ missed a crucial aspect – my children are the most significant part of my life. Not having them on the show did an injustice to me, as it meant I had to portray other aspects of my life that would typically be filled by my kids. This resulted in us fabricating storylines to fill those gaps.’

Additionally, we find ourselves compelled to improvise, which is unfortunate as it doesn’t truly reflect the reality of the situation.

She said that Very Cavallari didn’t feel ‘authentic’ for her because her kids are her ‘priority.’

Through her new television series, Cavallari promises a glimpse into the actual day-to-day life she shares with her trio of children at home.

‘I’m really excited for people to see that, to see how normal my life is, honestly.’

Apart from this, she mentioned that her kids felt completely comfortable and authentic when the cameras were on, and they found the entire process incredibly enjoyable.

Last month, she shared with podcast listeners that at first, she felt incredibly anxious whenever she filmed, thinking this must be the case for everyone. However, her children were adorably natural, and it was heartwarming to observe their authentic selves.

They enjoyed making the movie and found it enjoyable. Frankly, for me, it held a unique significance to have the opportunity to involve my children in this project, given that reality TV has played a substantial role in my journey.

‘And so to be able to have that little piece with my kids was really fun.’
