Kristin Cavallari’s Deep Fling Athlete Identity Finally Revealed!

After much speculation, Kristin Cavallari officially unveiled the athlete who was the subject of her long-standing ‘significant relationship’ hints.

The well-known figure from reality TV, aged 38, stunned fans when they disclosed this remarkable fact following their confession that their romantic relationship had ended.

For several months now, she’s hinted at a budding romance on her podcast, “Let’s Be Honest,” and at one instance, she referred to herself as being deeply involved in the world of WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends of Athletes).

In the latest episode of her podcast on Tuesday, she disclosed that since their relationship ended, she can now unveil his identity. She admitted to being deeply entangled in a romantic liaison with none other than Nate Thompson.

Previously, the former star of The Hills shared insights on an emotional reunion with her ex-boyfriend, who was the one to take her virginity. Now, she’s expressing fond memories of their relationship by praising him as a ‘wonderful individual.’

Additionally, she elaborated on the reasons for their breakup and mentioned that a certain ‘lack’ existed within their relationship, along with similar issues she’s encountered in some of her more recent romantic encounters.

In the most recent podcast installment, Cavallari revealed that she can now publicly identify the retired NHL player because online investigators, whom she called “TikTok detective whizzes,” had previously unmasked her former boyfriend.

In December 2024, during her chat with Bunnie Xo on the Dumb Blonde podcast, people on social media seem to have gathered and deciphered clues she had dropped.

She expressed indifference in her podcast, adding that she mentioned his name during her podcast tour. In her opinion, he is truly an exceptional individual.

She added: ‘He is someone who has done a lot of work on himself.’

She said that she and the hunky hockey player ‘connected on such a deep level.’

She admitted that, although the duration was brief, it was among the most profound relationships she’s ever experienced.

She was open and honest, revealing all details, during her brief relationship with the retired athlete, as she put it. They shared absolutely everything, including intimate secrets.

Gushing about Thompson, Cavallari even described their connection as ‘honest, pure, amazing.’

She mentioned that a significant portion of their relationship took place through voice messages, FaceTime chats, phone conversations, and texting because they were mostly apart geographically.

Later on, Cavallari explained the reason behind their decision to part ways, mentioning further that she has had enough of dating athletes who are still actively participating in competitions.

‘That attraction piece for me has to be so on fire for me to want to be with someone,’ she said.
