Kristin Cavallari Sells Tennessee Country Estate for $2M Less Than Original Asking Price

Kristin Cavallari successfully sold her stylish 6,788-square-foot countryside home in Franklin, Tennessee with the help of her real estate agent, Tim Thompson.

Last Friday, the 38-year-old Let’s Be Honest podcaster’s 28-acre property went under contract for $8.9M – according to TMZ – nine months after she put it on the real estate market for $11M.

The sale comes two months following Kristin’s decision to slash $1.05M off the price of the three-story, single family residence three years after telling My Domaine: ‘This is home as far as I can see into the future.’

Cavallari originally purchased the nine-year-old farmhouse for just $3M in April 2020 – the same month she announced she was legally separating from her husband Jay Cutler after seven years of marriage (divorce was finalized in 2022).

The Uncommon James founder then teamed up with interior designer April Tomlin and embarked on an 18-month renovation where they gutted the kitchen, finished the basement, redid the bathrooms and her large closet as well as adding an in-ground pool and greenhouse.

In 2022, Kristin enthusiastically told My Domaine, “I’m incredibly grateful as this is the first home I’ve ever had that perfectly matches my aesthetic preferences.

‘To be able to come home to this environment is so nice for me. I can’t say enough good things about Tennessee. It’s very grounding for me and I feel so at ease here.’

Cavallari’s generous-sized kitchen boasts modern equipment, an expansive quartzite counter island, and a roomy walk-in pantry.

The ex-flame of Morgan Wallen’s former house has a master bedroom, three en-suite bedrooms, four bathrooms, and one partial bathroom.

Kristin purposefully included a luxurious sauna and spacious fitness center in the basement, creating an area that functions as a personal wellness sanctuary.

Cavallari felt ‘very lucky’ that her three children – son Camden, 12; son Jaxon, 10; and daughter Saylor, 9 – got to ‘play outside all day.’

‘The second level is essentially the kids’ zone. It’s where all three of their bedrooms are, the playroom, an arts and crafts room, and a game room,’ the Denver-born beauty explained.

Having bees, honey, and a chicken coop brings me immense joy. It’s also wonderful to teach children life skills like tending to these animals. Watching my kids collect eggs from our coop is an amazing aspect of their upbringing – it’s quite distinct from how I was raised.

Kristin’s property is situated 21 miles south of Nashville. The property boasts a spacious 3,070-square-foot guest house, in addition to a vegetable garden, apple trees, and berry bushes.

Cavallari wrapped up her five-date ‘Let’s Be Honest’ tour at The Town Hall in Midtown Manhattan last Thursday, where she openly stated that she is currently single and has recently reactivated her dating app profiles a couple of weeks ago.

‘Nashville is awful for dating. That’s why I have to be on a dating app,’ the Very Cavallari alum scoffed.

‘I had planned to go out on two dates with acquaintances, but I told them that I needed to wait until after my podcast tour first.’

Kristin ended her seven-month relationship with 26-year-old Mark Estes last September.

E!’s cameras documented everything that unfolded on the Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, a brand-new reality series set to debut on June 5.

A celebrity with over 6.1 million followers on social media expressed enthusiasm about being back on television, exclaiming, “I’m thrilled to return to the small screen!

Kristin first found fame on two MTV reality shows Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County (2004)-2006) and The Hills (2009-2010).
