Kristin Cavallari, who was previously married to NFL player Jay Cutler, recently went on a date with a professional athlete.
The reality TV star, 38, recently opened up about her struggles with body image. Earlier this year, she was seen on a date with Will Hardy, the head coach of the Utah Jazz, in her hometown of Nashville.
According to Us Weekly, 37-year-old Hardy visited her in the city ‘many months ago.’
Their date didn’t lead to a relationship, and according to a source, they never met again.
‘It was one date and that was it,’ the insider told the outlet.
Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler were married from 2013 to 2022 and have three children together: sons Camden, 13, and Jaxon, 11, and daughter Saylor, who turns 10 on November 23. Cutler recently had footage released from his DUI arrest.

Last October, the former Laguna Beach star talked about starting to date again, mentioning she’d been set up with someone at a sporting event.
You know, I’ve always been a big believer in putting your intentions out there. Recently, I actually told the universe I was ready to start dating again. It sounds a little out there, I know, but I genuinely said it out loud – I was ready to go on a date! Sometimes you just have to be direct with what you want.
The following day, my agent connected me with a dating coach – which is ironic, considering Patti Stanger had previously told me on my podcast that I should date coaches!
Cavallari did not name her date, but hinted about the guy, ‘He’s a big deal.’
I was so excited to hear how this all came together! Apparently, he and I both have agents at CAA, and they actually connected us. He ended up flying to Nashville and took me out to dinner – he’s honestly just a really great person, and it was amazing to finally meet him.
She explained that she enjoyed herself, but knew that they weren’t a good match.
As a mom of three, I usually know right away on a first date whether I’ll be interested in someone. In this case, I was trying to force a connection, even though my gut was telling me it wasn’t right. I kept talking to him and planned to see him again, but everything inside me was screaming ‘no’.
I can really feel it when something isn’t a good fit for me – my body almost protests. He’s a genuinely kind person, and I liked our conversation, but ultimately, it just didn’t feel right.

During a July episode of her show, Kristin Cavallari discussed her ideal dating preferences with renowned matchmaker Patti Stanger.
The women were talking about NFL players when one of them, a striking blonde, suddenly suggested, ‘Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a coach?’
The celebrity joked that she’s no longer interested in dating athletes, then playfully wondered where all the attractive coaches are.
Honestly, some of these guys are incredibly attractive! You’ll be scrolling through pictures and suddenly stop, thinking, ‘Wow, who is that?’ It’s a total heart-stopper, I tell you!
Stanger agreed, ‘They’re always in their 40s and really sexy, and they have scruff and nice hair.’
Weighing the downside, Cavallari added, ‘The problem is they work a lot.’
Just days after being released from jail, bodycam footage from Jay Cutler’s DUI arrest was made public. This happened shortly after his split from Kristin Cavallari became widely known.
In October 2024, the former Chicago Bears quarterback was arrested and, as part of an agreement with Tennessee prosecutors, received a four-day jail sentence.
Cutler was arrested in Franklin, a Nashville suburb. This is where he attended college and was married to Kristin Cavallari, who is also a reality TV star, though they are now divorced.
Police body camera footage released last month shows 42-year-old Jamie Cutler being questioned about his alcohol consumption after he crashed into the back of another car.
When Cutler initially said he hadn’t been drinking, an officer warned him against lying. After being asked again, he admitted to having ‘a little bit’ to drink.
The professional football player declined a field sobriety test, and officers then handcuffed him and placed him in a police car. He didn’t argue or resist.

Cutler was arrested for driving under the influence and illegally possessing a gun. He later reached an agreement with prosecutors who dropped the gun charge. As a result, he was sentenced to four days in jail for the DUI.
Despite being a top draft pick, he only served a little over two days of his short sentence.
In addition to his sentence, he’ll be on unsupervised probation for a year, must complete a DUI safety course, and will pay a $350 fine.
Even though Cutler has finished serving time for his crime, he’s still facing a lawsuit from the driver he injured in the crash. The driver claims the incident caused him significant physical and emotional pain, and negatively impacted his quality of life.
