Kraven the Hunter is now available to watch at home
Kraven the Hunter‘s debut didn’t leave Sony’s Spider-Man Universe with a grand farewell, as it has earned just $59 million globally so far.
Well, here’s my take as a gaming enthusiast: Now I get to weigh in! Sony has made it possible for us gamers to watch the Spidey spin-off from home, as they’ve just released the movie on digital platforms in the US. It’s time to see if it deserved more praise or not.
As a gaming enthusiast, I just wanted to drop a quick tip: you can grab or lease the latest flick, ‘Kraven the Hunter’, right now on Prime Video, iTunes, and several other digital stores across the USA. Enjoy the hunt!
In the United Kingdom, “Kraven the Hunter” has not been made available digitally yet. Given that Sony films typically have a 45-day exclusivity period in cinemas, we might anticipate its arrival on digital platforms towards the latter half of this month, possibly around January 27 or 28.
Currently, you have the opportunity to secure a copy of “Kraven the Hunter” before its digital release in the UK by placing a pre-order through Prime Video and iTunes. This will allow you to watch the movie as soon as it becomes available.
Additionally, you have the option to reserve the movie for purchase on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD before it hits UK theaters. Similar to the digital version, Sony hasn’t announced a specific UK launch date for the physical edition yet.
There’s also a 4K Steelbook available to pre-order, which will be released on the same day.
As a gamer, I’d say it like this: Man, even though Kraven the Hunter hit the big screen, it didn’t impress the critics much; it’s only managing a 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Guess what? It’s still better than Morbius (15%) and Madame Web (11%), but it can’t beat any of the Venom movies, unfortunately.
The dismal opening weekend, with just $11 million earned in the U.S., was a record-low start for any Sony Marvel film.
Currently showing in UK movie theaters, “Kraven the Hunter” can also be purchased or rented on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and others within the United States.
