At long last, KRAFTON is introducing what they should have introduced earlier. The company has announced PUBG UNITED 2025, an esports event that will unite teams from the PUBG Global Championship (PGC) and the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC). For the first time ever, players from both small and large screens will compete on the same stage, embarking on a unique and memorable journey for the IP. It remains to be seen whether the console version will also be included in this event.

Krafton continues to deliver surprises this year, with a plethora of national and regional leagues as well as global events on the horizon. The latest tournament is an effort to reclaim the mobile esports scene previously dominated by Mobile Legends.

The announcement arrived not long after the wrap-up of PMWC 2025. More recently, the game unveiled their H2 2025 Esports Plan for BGMI.
