The movie KPop Demon Hunters continues to be incredibly popular on Netflix, remaining the platform’s most-watched film as of January 2026. Remarkably, it’s still appearing on the weekly top 10 movie charts months after its original release in 2025.
Okay, so I’m a bit of a movie watcher, and I just saw that KPop Demon Hunters has been hanging out in Netflix’s top 10 most-watched list for a whopping 31 weeks! That’s seriously impressive. Most movies are lucky to stay on there for a few weeks, but this one’s been there for over seven months now. It’s actually past the halfway point of being in the top 10 for a whole year – that’s a long run!
KPop Demon Hunters’ Netflix Record Is On Track To Hit A Full Year On The Platform’s Weekly Top 10 Charts
Even without reaching Netflix’s top 10 most-watched list each week for a year, KPop Demon Hunters would still be a huge hit. However, the strong possibility of it achieving this is a clear sign of just how incredibly popular the animated film has been since it came out in June 2025.
Currently, only Paw Patrol: The Movie has approached the success of KPop Demon Hunters, but it stayed on Netflix’s top 10 list for a much shorter period – 17 weeks compared to KPop Demon Hunters‘ impressive 31 weeks.
Because fans are revisiting the original movie and rediscovering the musical’s catchy songs, it’s likely that KPop Demon Hunters will remain popular for a long time – possibly even through the end of the year. It’s already been hugely successful, with streaming numbers that are unusually high.
