Kourtney Kardashian’s stepson Landon Barker is seen kissing his new girlfriend at the MTV VMAs

On Sunday, Landon Barker and his partner stepped out together for the first time on a red carpet event, specifically at the MTV Video Music Awards.

At the UBS Arena in New York City, the 21-year-old musician and 20-year-old model, Skyla Sanders, generated warmth by sharing a kiss while being captured by photographers during their joint appearance.

In May, the pair made their relationship public on Instagram, and Landon demonstrated his commitment by getting a tattoo of his girlfriend’s name on his wrist.

Landon, son of Travis Barker (aged 49), Kourtney Kardashian’s husband, and his former wife Shanna Moakler (aged 50), was seen bare-chested under a traditional black tuxedo, showcasing his tattoos.

The NYU student has often found herself amidst the allure of Tinseltown, given that she’s the daughter of model, actress Liberty Ross, and director Rupert Sanders.

On Saturday, Sanders shared a photo of herself, and her boyfriend affectionately commented, “You’re gorgeous, my love!

‘My girlfriend is so gorgeous,’ he wrote approvingly on another. 

Before he started dating Skyla, Landon was in a relationship with Charlie D’Amelio for over a year. They ended their relationship in February 2024, as stated by Landon himself, who is also known as the Over You artist, with a decision to focus on personal growth separately.

As a model, Skyla posts new photos nearly everyday, many of them in which she is scantily clad. 

Travis Barker found himself in a bit of controversy back in early August, when he commented with an anchor emoji on a series of photos that included Landon and Skyla. The first picture showed the model posing provocatively on a bed, dressed in a revealing bikini.

One user exclaimed ‘I genuinely shouted eww’, while another responded with a hint of sarcasm, saying ‘But that’s certainly not eerie in any way…’

Others defended the Blink 182 drummer as trying to be supportive. 

Since Travis Barker married Kourtney Kardashian in a grand wedding in Italy in 2022, the Barkers’ public images have come under increased examination and scrutiny.

The drawback is that many are quick to point out any missteps they make publicly.  

Conversely, Landon has reaped the rewards of heightened interest in his music. Additionally, he’s been offered modeling gigs and entered into partnerships with various brands such as Revolve and Dossier fragrances.
