At NYCXDesign 2025, Designer Kouros Maghsoudi revealed the newest piece in his Hug series – the Hug Chair. Renowned for his daring and unique furniture design style, Maghsoudi highlights this piece’s sculptural form and welcoming nature through its low-profile shape and slender metal legs. These legs provide necessary support to the flat cushion seat, encased by rounded, cylindrical armrests, which are upholstered in luxurious Italian leather.

The Hug Chair carries on Maghsoudi’s investigation into design hedonism, expanding upon earlier creations like the Hug Bed and Hug Tray. Unlike the multi-position seating of the Hug Bed, the Hug Chair provides a more adaptable encounter, enabling users to engage with it in numerous manners.
