With last year’s Skull Island: Rise of Kong being one of the most exhilarating experiences in my gaming life, I eagerly await this new adventure set in the devastated cityscape after Godzilla vs. Kong.
7Levels developer and Monsterverse studio Legendary Entertainment have unveiled Kong: Survivor Instinct, a captivating 2.5D King Kong journey, reminiscent of the brilliance displayed in Skull Island: Rise of Kong from last year.
In the wake of the 2021 Godzilla vs. Kong movie, Survivor Instinct places you in a devastated urban landscape, where you play as a father on a desperate quest to find his lost daughter. Throughout the game, you’ll interact with other survivors and employ Monarch technology to harness the power of Titans for your benefit.
In this game, you’ll experience intense platforming challenges and tough combat right at the forefront. As you navigate through a labyrinth of decaying structures, watch out for dangerous leakages and fires. The game also introduces the formidable Titan, Abaddon, along with encounters against Kong and the ruthless mercenary group known as the Hyenas.
Kong: Survivor Instinct will be coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC in ‘fall 2024’.
