DMMGAMES recently announced the upcoming release of Koihime Taisen, a new battle RPG and the latest installment in the popular Koihime Musō series. The game is scheduled to launch in Japan on Android, iOS, and PC in Spring 2026, and pre-registration is now available.
Get ready to build your dream team of legendary heroes
Koihime†Taisen draws inspiration from the Koihime Musō series, which is famous for its adult visual novels and strategy games. However, this new game is a hero-collecting RPG featuring beloved figures from the Three Kingdoms and Warring States periods, redesigned as cute anime girls.
What’s really exciting is that this is the first game in the series to unite characters from all previous installments. The story begins with you and your team unexpectedly transported to a destroyed alternate world, where you must rescue the Princess from a shadowy group and, crucially, find a way to escape yourselves.
I’m really looking forward to building a team with characters like Momoka (originally Liu Bei Xuande) and Kuon (originally Oda Nobunaga), and leveling up their abilities for strategic combat. I think players will especially enjoy the Harem system, which lets you develop relationships and deepen bonds with these heroes. So far, everything looks promising!
Koihime Taisen is giving away rewards to players who pre-register, and here’s what you can expect to receive when the game launches:
- 10,000 Pre-registrations: 500 Tensou stones
- 30,000 Pre-registrations: 1,000 Tensou Stones, 10 Musou Emaki Gacha Tickets
- 50,000 Pre-registrations: 1,500 Tensou Stones, 5 Koihime Gacha Tickets
- 100,000 Pre-registrations: 2,000 Tensou Stones, 10 Musou Emaki Gacha Tickets
- 150,000 Pre-registrations: 2,500 Tensou Stones, 5 Koihime Gacha Tickets
Koihime Taisen will be available on Android, iOS, and PC in Japan starting in Spring 2026. Pre-registration is now open on the Google Play Store, App Store, and the DMM GAMES website. While the App Store currently lists a release date of February 5, 2026, this is subject to change, so keep an eye out for future announcements!
