Knives Out 3 release date confirmed for December with first look at stacked cast

The third installment of the “Knives Out” series, also known as “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” is set to arrive on Netflix in December, offering movie enthusiasts an exciting pre-Christmas viewing experience.

As a dedicated fan, I’ve been on the edge of my seat, speculating about the cryptic hints dropped by the creators. Turns out, we were right! The much-anticipated release is indeed set for December 12th, and I can hardly contain my excitement. Kudos to all fellow Benoit Blanc sleuths who managed to crack this case!

During Netflix’s TUDUM event, we were informed about the upcoming release date for the third installment of “Knives Out”, and we got a sneak preview, providing us with our initial glimpse of the impressive ensemble cast.

In the chilling new preview, it is shown that the majority of the events unfold within and near a church, with James Bond actor Daniel Craig reprising his role as detective Benoit Blanc, hinting at an “unthinkable murder.

The film “Wake Up Dead Man” features Craig alongside a stellar ensemble of actors including Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Thomas Haden Church, Mila Kunis, Daryl McCormack and Josh Brolin.

Among the fascinating characters in this story, we have Jeremy Renner, whose character seems to have a connection with the world of Knives Out, as he has previously appeared within it.

In the movie “Glass Onion,” he portrayed the character for a fictional hot sauce brand, Renning Hot. But, it’s been confirmed by writer-director Rian Johnson that Renner will have a significant role in the upcoming film titled “Wake Up Dead Man.

Johnson remarked, “I was greatly amused that he found the hot sauce joke amusing.” To maintain consistency, we’ll ensure the sauce doesn’t appear on camera.

The details regarding the case that Benoit Blanc will tackle in Knives Out 3 haven’t been fully disclosed, but hints suggest it could be his most perilous investigation to date.

Johnson stated that the mysterious title provides a “subtle clue as to its direction,” and warned us to anticipate the unanticipated, as the director hinted, “I have a deep affection for whodunnits, but what I adore most about this genre is its flexibility.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery will be released on Netflix on 12 December.
