Most people are likely familiar with My Hero Academia (MHA) by now. It even became a strong contender to be considered one of the next major anime franchises, alongside giants in the industry. Based on Kohei Horikoshi’s incredibly popular manga, the series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, and this game is launching at a perfect time while the franchise is still hugely popular.
Details are still scarce, but there is faith in KLab’s experience
Now that the last season is about to air, this news couldn’t have come at a better moment. I’ve been a fan for a long time, though I admit I’ve stopped watching partway through before. I’m really excited to see beloved characters like Deku, Bakugo, and everyone else brought to life with great visuals and their unique abilities.
We don’t have many specifics just yet, but the developers say progress is going well. They haven’t even announced the official name of the game, but given the studio’s history with successful titles like Bleach: Brave Souls and HAIKYU!! FLY HIGH, I’m expecting great things.
Unfortunately, the game won’t be available in mainland China at launch, despite being planned for a worldwide release. The developers have said they’ll share more information shortly, so keep an eye out for updates!
