Kith Launches K-Tech Activewear Line & On Running Collab For SS25

Thrilled to share that on Thursday, I was excited to learn about Kith’s new activewear line, K-Tech! This performance-focused collection is crafted with top-notch materials and boasts advanced technical features. The debut collection, showcased in a stylish black-and-white campaign, exudes an understated elegance that aligns perfectly with luxury aesthetics, setting the tone for the brand.

The design of this collection has a minimalist feel, striking a harmonious balance between necessity and style. It features key elements such as outerwear, inner layers, coordinating pants and shorts, and various accessories. This is not a gentle introduction; it’s a bold debut. Each piece is designed for intense activities, utilizing innovative materials like moisture-wicking honeycomb, 4-way stretch tricot, breathable mesh, and water-resistant wrinkle nylon.

For outdoor wear, Kith brings attention to their Nylon Bolt Shell Jacket, a water-resistant jacket with a wrinkle-free nylon shell and mesh lining that enhances breathability. The design’s reflective details enhance its technical aspect, while the wavy seams give it a sporty appearance. Pants and shorts share similar features like curved hems and contrasting seams as the jackets do.

Here are several t-shirts designed with blends of nylon and moisture-wicking fabrics, such as the Panelled Donovan Tee, Engineered Slate Tee, and Honeycomb Tech Heathrow Tee. These shirts reflect some of the accent details found throughout the collection and display Kith & Kin and K-Tech graphics. To complement the collection, K-Tech offers a selection of accessories like the Nylon Griffey Runner Cap, Collapsible Griffey Camper Hat, and Nylon Camper Bucket Hat, all showcasing K-Tech’s initial branding.

Lastly, the lookbook highlights a fresh partnership between Kith and On Running, providing an up-close inspection of the shoes that Ronnie Fieg hinted at earlier in the week. The images reveal the new Cloudzone runners in a minimalistic palette of black and white, featuring uncomplicated textile upper materials and signature soles developed by On Running.

2024 saw a surge of interest in performance gear, resulting in some exciting partnerships. For instance, Hoka teamed up with independent running brand SATISFY, while NikeSKIMS, a new joint venture between Nike and SKIMS, was unveiled just yesterday. Kith’s Swiss partner On Running experienced significant growth in 2024, raking in nearly $2.6 billion USD in sales. This year, the high-end athletic brand has already secured collaborations with Loewe, POST ARCHIVAL FACTION, and INVINCIBLE for 2025.
