Kit Connor teases season 4 of Heartstopper: “We are working on something”

Kit Connor has teased the future of Heartstopper, as fans await news of a fourth instalment

As a devoted fan, I eagerly awaited the arrival of the third season of my beloved teen romance drama on Netflix last October, continuing the captivating storyline from where season two left off. Although the narrative delved into some complex and somber themes this time around, it was skillfully interwoven with heartwarming and uplifting moments that left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Nearly half a year has passed since the series ended, but there’s no definitive news yet about its renewal. However, the actor who portrays Nick Nelson, Connor, has recently shared an update, expressing his readiness to be part of Heartstopper should it get green-lit for a fourth season.

The actor expressed, “I’m keen on participating provided it’s executed correctly.” He added, “I simply wish to ensure that we maintain the essence or spirit of it.

As an ardent admirer, let me tell you, I’ve been hinting that we’ve got something in the works, and fingers crossed, it’ll materialize. However, keep in mind, things are subject to change. The truth is, I don’t want to proceed unless everything aligns perfectly. So, let’s wait and see!

As a game enthusiast, let me share my thoughts on the captivating graphic novel series, Heartstopper – penned by the talented Alice Oseman. This story unfolds around two English schoolboys, Nick and Charlie (Joe Locke), whose unforeseen friendship eventually blooms into something deeper. In my own words, I’d say that this enchanting tale follows my journey as these characters, exploring their surprising bond and watching it evolve into a touching romance.

During a conversation with Deadline, Oseman expressed her desire for the series to carry on, so that the story could be properly wrapped up. She stated in October, “I hope there will be another season, but we don’t have any confirmation as of now.

I’m eager to continue with volume six. I believe another season or two might be necessary to wrap up the story, resolve each character’s arc, and provide a fitting end for them all. So here’s hoping!

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but express my excitement after learning that Digital Spy gave the third season of our favorite show five stars! They praised it for maintaining the exceptional quality of seasons one and two, skillfully blending the realms of darkness and light.
