Kiss rocker Gene Simmons has two strict rules for buyer of his lavish $28 million home

Gene Simmons, co-founder of KISS, conveyed a clear preference for prospective purchasers of his Beverly Hills residence: he hoped they wouldn’t engage in round-the-clock partying or endless nights of rock and roll.

In a conversation with The Wall Street Journal in April, at 75 years old, Simmons expressed that the extraordinary experiences he has there make him reluctant to let just anyone buy the luxurious property he regards as his home.

As a die-hard admirer of yours, Simmons – the legendary bassist and vocalist from our favorite band – clearly outlined his ideal type of fan when it comes to selling his precious items.

The Haifa, Israel-born musician expressed that his space should be free from substance use and alcoholism, as he doesn’t wish for anyone to cause damage or destruction.

The musician known for “The I Was Made For Lovin’ You” – a member of the iconic heavy metal band and merchandising powerhouse along with Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss – successfully sold his Beverly Hills property for twice its initial $14 million asking price, as reported by Realtor.com.

The spacious Beverly Hills residence boasts a living area of approximately 7,741 square feet, featuring four cozy bedrooms and a convenient five bathroom setup. This modern abode was skillfully constructed in the year 2017.

This high-end Los Angeles neighborhood, perched atop a hill, offers stunning vistas of nearby locales like Century City, Coldwater Canyon, and the Pacific Ocean.

‘Family is forever,’ Simmons told WSJ of the home while it was on the market.

The artist known as Forever went on to say, “You’re looking for a spot that functions as your business hub, conveniently located in Los Angeles, yet also a location where your children would be eager to visit and spend time with you.

Simmons informed WSJ that he and his wife Shannon Tweed Simmons have lived in Beverly Hills for a long time, and purchased the house in 2021 during their relocation to Las Vegas. This was done so they could still maintain a connection with Los Angeles.

As a devoted fan, I’d say: Being an ardent follower of the “Hide Your Heart” artist, it was clear that the desert heat of Las Vegas proved too harsh for him and his wife. Consequently, they decided to return to their home in Beverly Hills, opting to sell their Sin City residence on the real estate market instead.

According to Simmons, a variety of considerations played a role in choosing the Beverly Hills house, including privacy, personal preferences, proximity to film studios, business associates, and his kids.

The listing was held by Compass agents Lisa Young, Kennon Earl and Thomas Davila.
