Kirsten Dunst puffs on cigarette in LA after admitting she wants to make a movie where she doesn’t ‘lose money’

Kirsten Dunst was spotted enjoying a smoke break outside a cafe in Los Angeles on Monday.

43-year-old actress from Interview with the Vampire, casually dressed, was spotted enjoying a smoke with a companion.

In an open conversation recently, the actress was seen wearing a striped shirt and matching it with dark jeans, accessorized by a black belt. She shared that her son had experienced a serious health issue.

Her casually chic look was completed with white sandals and a pair of black sunglasses.

The Academy Award nominee wore her shoulder-length blonde hair down and parted on the side.

Following the independent film legend, known for collaborating with prestigious directors such as Sofia Coppola and Lars von Trier, has shared her aspiration to create a film that won’t result in financial losses.

Even she proposed the possibility of her being part of the ensemble for Minecraft 2, following the enormous success of a Minecraft film – inspired by the renowned video game – which grossed an impressive $955 million at the global box office.

She said, “Perhaps I could produce a film without incurring any financial losses?” in her recent interview with Town & Country, published on Wednesday.

The actor, typically known for choosing art-house movies over mainstream films, might find a significant shift in the genre if they were to star in a movie similar to Minecraft 2.

Despite receiving Oscar nominations and gracing numerous blockbuster productions, she continues to be cherished by audiences for her performances in independent films such as “The Virgin Suicides” (1999) and “Melancholia” (2011).

Nonetheless, Kirsten Dunst’s illustrious acting career features a significant number of commercially successful films such as The Spider-Man Trilogy from 2002 to 2007, Bring It On in 2000, and Jumanji in 1995.

In a recent interview, elsewhere, Dunst disclosed that her son James experienced a startling health emergency during filming in Budapest this year.

The actress, married to Jesse Plemons and mom to James, 4, and Ennis, 7, spent half a year overseas with her family while filming The Entertainment System is Down. However, their youngest child fell gravely sick almost immediately after the move.

Dunst conveyed to Town & Country that the experience was akin to “Final Destination,” involving constant worry and contemplation of potential dangers or catastrophic events that might befall her child.

Although I’ve never watched that film, I understand its premise. Sometimes, that’s what being a mom can feel like.

In January, Plemons and his sons came to join Dunst in Budapest, intending to stay throughout the entire filming period. Before James became unwell, Ennis had already signed up for school.

Later, Plemons returned their sons to their broader network of assistance in Los Angeles, whereas Dunst stayed overseas, save for a brief trip in April, to complete the filming.

Regarding James’ health issue, Dunst remained tight-lipped, but she did assure everyone that he is currently in good shape.

She expressed that the health scare had a profound impact on their family, drawing them closer than ever before. Furthermore, they have plans to vacation in the Bahamas, fulfilling their promise to take James to any destination of his choice.

In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live in April 2024, the star jokingly revealed that they often refer to their child, who was nearly three at the time, as ‘Jimmy’, because he could be quite unruly and challenging to manage.

We often refer to him as ‘Little Chris Farley,’ not because of his age but due to his resemblance in mannerisms to Chris Farley. And let me tell you, this guy is simply hilarious! He can be quite eccentric, that’s for sure.

Dunst and Plemons got together after starring in Fargo Season 2 in 2016, getting engaged in 2017.

They married in 2022 in a secret ceremony in Jamaica.

‘We fell in love creatively first,’ Dunst gushed to the LA Times in 2021.

‘He was like a creative soul mate to me and the way we both work. On Fargo, I knew after two weeks.

I wasn’t aware I had made this statement, but my closest friend informed me that I told her, ‘I feel certain I’ll know this person for the duration of my life.’

‘Just because I felt such an immediate connection.’
