Kirsten Dunst recently shared that people have been saying her name incorrectly during her entire career, and she demonstrated the correct way to pronounce it.
The 43-year-old actress expressed regret about mispronunciations and asserted that individuals in the United Kingdom often struggle to get it correct.
Although she doesn’t place blame on individuals, she has had to address numerous questions such as “chris-ten,” “kar-stin,” and “kier-sten” throughout the years.
Though she seemed slightly irritated about the matter, she maintained that everything was alright and appeared indifferent towards the correct pronunciation of it.
In a TikTok clip shared by Town and Country, she casually mentioned that due to frequent mispronunciations of her name, she has simply decided to yield.
‘I don’t care… I don’t blame people. Like in England, they don’t really say my name right.

Previously, it was disclosed that Kirsten was given an irritating pseudonym during filming for Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man series.
In the movie series from 2002 to 2007, Kirsten Dunst portrayed Mary Jane Watson, who was played by Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in those films.

In an interview with Marie Claire, she shared that it was playful banter among her colleagues on the set of Spider-Man where they would occasionally refer to her as a “feminine lady” over their walkie-talkies.
‘But I never said anything … Like, don’t call me that.’
If it had been post-MeToo movement, she might have said something to make her frustrations clear.
Kirsten said: ‘You didn’t say anything. You just took it.’
The actress who played a leading role in Bring It On shared that she decided to step away from acting for two years due to feeling repeatedly cast in melancholic mother roles following her performance as widow Rose Gordon in the 2021 psychological drama, The Power of the Dog.
She expressed that every character she was given to portray was a mournful mother. To put it frankly, this has been challenging for her… as she needs to earn her own living by taking on these roles.
The most challenging aspect of being a mom lies in the fact that I often feel as if I have no personal identity or time for myself. This isn’t unique to me; it’s something many mothers experience.
‘There’s definitely less good roles for women my age.’
