On March 15, 2025, Anic Inc. has declared that they will be ceasing operations for their renowned character collection RPG, “King’s Raid,” a game initially released on mobile platforms in Thailand on September 19, 2016, and globally on February 16, 2017. This real-time strategy game with an engaging narrative has captivated many as one of the most popular Gacha games of its time, but its closure signifies the end of an era for this cherished title.

For those not acquainted with it, King’s Raid is an engaging real-time Role Playing Game (RPG) that revolves around strategy, set in the continent named Orbis – a world brimming with swords, magic, and anime-style 3D characters. In this game, you can gather a group of four heroes by acquiring these characters, participate in real-time 3D battles within the Player vs Player (PvP) arena, engage in raid battles, and much more!

As a devoted fan, I’m sharing some disappointing news: The team behind “King’s Raid” has announced on Facebook that they will be shutting down operations for the game as of March 15, 2025. In their statement, they shared that despite their relentless efforts to deliver enjoyable and significant experiences, they can no longer guarantee a stable service environment. Consequently, the developers have made the difficult decision to close the game after years of dedicated service.

After this announcement, the developers have temporarily halted downloads and purchases. Although fresh transactions are no longer available, you can still spend any leftover currency and items before the game shuts down for good. Therefore, I recommend using up all your remaining resources and enjoying these last moments with your cherished game until it officially closes on March 15, 2025.
The positive aspect is that you can request refunds or payment cancellations directly from the stores where you purchased it. Many players have expressed their dissatisfaction with the game, citing issues like mismanagement, greed, poor updates, and more. In November 2023, signs of further decline became apparent when the developer had to let go of all 105 employees due to financial troubles.
