Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Post-Launch Roadmap Includes a Year of Updates and Expansions

Warhorse Studios, together with Plaion, have unveiled the post-release plan for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which includes both free and paid expansions. These updates bring new experiences such as Horse Racing, along with a challenging Hardcore Mode.

Starting this spring, the project launches with complimentary upgrades introducing a personalized Barber shop, a tougher difficulty level called Hardcore Mode, and Horse Racing where you can improve your riding abilities to potentially discover secret treasures. As we move into summer, a fresh quest will be introduced.

Titled ‘Brushes with Death’, the first expansion, or additional content, finds protagonist Henry assisting a mysterious artist who has a questionable past. You can anticipate numerous risky encounters and the untangling of a complex network of dangerous plots. Later in the fall, the ‘Legacy of the Forge’ mission will delve into Henry’s origins and the legacy left by his adoptive father, Martin.

In the year 2025, the journey continues for Henry as he takes on the task of reviving an old, once-famed blacksmith’s forge, demonstrating his exceptional skills in the process. Alongside this, he will unearth ancient stories from bygone eras. The ‘Mysteria Ecclesia’ quest marks the conclusion of winter, bringing intrigue to the Sedlec Monastery where Henry will be drawn into a multi-layered undercover assignment.

Besides the previously mentioned expansion packs, “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” will receive free enhancement updates for an enhanced player experience. You can obtain all three story expansion packs by purchasing the Expansion Pass, which is included in the Gold Edition of the game. Alongside the game, the Gold Edition also offers the Gallant Huntsman Kit and a bonus quest titled “Lion’s Crest.

The sequel to “Kingdom Come: Deliverance”, titled “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”, is set to release for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on the 4th of February. You can catch a glimpse of its post-launch content roadmap in the trailer linked below.
