Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Has Longest Script in Game History, Says Director
According to Daniel Vávra, the mastermind behind “Kingdom Come: Deliverance II”, the game could potentially boast one of the longest scripts among all video games in existence.
This could be either pleasing or disappointing for you, depending on your preferences. If you enjoy immersive gaming experiences with extensive narratives, complex gameplay mechanics, and detailed character interactions, then this might be exciting news. However, if prolonged storylines, intricate structures, and extensive dialogue don’t appeal to you, it could potentially be bad news.
In response to a tweet, Vávra shared an image of the game’s script, which was printed on large, double-sided sheets. A team member from Warhorse Studios is pictured beside it. According to Vávra, this script is even bigger than Baldur’s Gate III.
According to Vávra, this game script is reportedly the longest one for any game, even longer than Baldur’s Gate 3 with approximately 1.7 million words. However, whether these words will turn out to be good remains to be seen.

The sequel to “Kingdom Come: Deliverance” is slated for launch on February 4th, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and personal computers (PC).
