Level Infinite and TiMi Studios teamed up to host the event. Tickets for the final matches sold out almost immediately after going on sale. The champion will receive a prize of ¥20,000,000 (about $2,810,000), making it one of the most lucrative tournaments ever held.

The first match experienced some initial technical issues, but was quickly fixed by the on-site team, allowing the game to continue. Ultimately, AG Super Play proved to be the stronger team, winning the championship against Dragon Ranger Gaming with a final score of 4-1.
