Amanda Holden shares insights about King Charles’ intentions to grow his family and acquire a new pet dog, following the passing of the late Queen’s cherished rescue canine.

Queen Camilla, 77, was left heartbroken after the death of Jack Russell Beth in November.

In 2011, Her Majesty welcomed Beth into her family from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, located in South London. The year after, another Jack Russell terrier named Bluebell also became part of their household.

Now King Charles and his wife are considering adopting a new dog from the famous rescue charity.

54-year-old Amanda Holden, a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, teamed up with co-host Alan Carr to present the Royal Variety Show in December. After the event, she had a conversation with the King where he shared his future plans with her.

Amanda mentioned that she had frequently encountered the royals throughout the years and noted that King Charles possesses a playful personality.

She mentioned that he discussed his fondness for the show, and I believe he has a really good sense of humor.

On Saturday, the judge from Britain’s Got Talent will appear on our TV screens once more, joining forces with Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli, and special guest judge KSI.

Amanda revealed she wants to pass on her job to her daughter.

Inquired whether she could envision continuing the show for another 18 years, she responded, “No, I can’t. Ideally, it would be wonderful if we could hand over the responsibility to our real-life kids.

Instead, imagine the charm if we truly transformed it into a genuine family enterprise, passing it on through generations.

‘I think our children would jump at the chance.’

In September, Alexa, Amanda’s 19-year-old daughter, made her modeling debut on the runway for TranHung, much like her mother did before her.

The host of The Heart Breakfast show, who recently celebrated her 54th birthday on a yacht and enjoyed the warm weather, stated that she will not wear extra layers in chilly Britain as she finds fashion important enough to endure a bit of coldness.

For several decades, the royal family has had a deep connection with canines, as Queen Elizabeth II kept numerous Corgis during her 70-year rule at Buckingham Palace.

Queen Camilla’s dog Beth had an untreatable tumour and had to be put down in November.

A representative for the royal family spoke: ‘With great sorrow, we bid adieu to Beth, a cherished friend of the Queen, who came from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. She brought us immense happiness – be it during walks, assisting with official tasks, or simply relaxing by the fire.’

Alongside some genuine snapshots featuring the King, Queen, and Beth, as well as video clips showing the Jack Russell assisting in an official opening ceremony, the Royal Family decided to make them public.

Beth and Bluebell were cherished by Camilla so deeply that they were depicted in the goldwork designs on her coronation dress. These intricate designs, symbolizing the beloved pets, were embroidered onto the historic gown that Camilla donned during her coronation ceremony.

In 2022, Camilla accompanied Beth to participate in a loyalty contest against the late television host and dog enthusiast Paul O’Grady and his dog Sausage, which was recorded at Battersea’s Brands Hatch center in Kent for the popular series For The Love Of Dogs.

The royal pet managed to ignore toys and treats to run back to her owner to win the trial.

Beth made a number of appearances at royal engagements at Camilla’s side over the years.

In the year 2020, Beth assisted Camilla in revealing a commemorative plaque during the inauguration of the newly built dog and cat shelters at the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

A sausage was fastened to a string connected to a fabric hiding the plaque honoring Camilla’s visit. As Beth picked up the sausage to tug at the curtain, Camilla burst out in laughter.

A rope, tied with a sausage, concealed the commemorative sign of Camilla’s visit. When Beth grabbed the sausage, she pulled the fabric aside, causing Camilla to laugh heartily.

Camilla serves as the benefactor of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, while O’Grady, who passed away recently, had been a dedicated representative for quite some time for this charitable organization focusing on animal care.
