Kin star’s “truly exceptional” period drama branded “unforgettable” finally gets BBC release date
A World War II drama series based on a best-selling book finally has a BBC release date.
The story “The Narrow Road to the Deep North” is derived from Richard Flanagan’s 2014 novel and primarily revolves around the character of Dorrigo Evans, portrayed by actor Jacob Elordi in the film “Saltburn.
The narrative traces his life journey, starting just prior to his assignment on the battlefield, through his imprisonment as a war captive, and then navigating the subsequent decades as he copes with the repercussions.

Previously unavailable in the UK on Amazon Prime Video, the captivating series “The Narrow Road to the Deep North” will make its long-awaited debut on our television screens and is set to premiere on BBC One this Sunday, 20th July at 9.15pm.
The series will be available as a box-set in full on BBC iPlayer from the same date.
