Kimora Lee Simmons boldly claims she ‘doesn’t have a relationship’ with ‘weird’ three fathers of her kids

Kimora Lee Simmons hasn’t hesitated to share her honest feelings about maintaining relationships with the fathers of her children.

As a longtime follower, I was really struck by what she shared recently. She finally spoke about her daughter’s surprising new romance, and honestly, she was incredibly open about her own life too. She admitted she doesn’t have any kind of relationship with her children’s fathers, and it was just so raw and honest to hear her say that.

Kimora Lee and record executive Russell Simmons were married for eleven years, from 1998 to 2009, and have two daughters: Ming Lee, age 25, and Aoki Lee, age 23.

Simmons later welcomed her son Kenzo, 16, with Gladiator actor Djimon Hounsou.

She adopted her 16-year-old son, Gary Lee, and also considers 19-year-old Jayden to be a son. Jayden has been part of the family since he was in elementary school.

In 2015, she had a son named Wolfe, age 10, with Tim Leissner. She and Leissner divorced in 2022.

Daily Mail has contacted representatives for both Simmons and Hounsou, but they haven’t received a response yet.

Because Leissner pleaded guilty to bribery and money laundering and was sentenced to two years in prison in May, he is currently unable to respond.

Kimora Lee recently told People magazine that she isn’t close to the fathers of her three children.

She admitted her co-parenting is generally fine, but explained that she has full custody of her children.

I’m the main caregiver, and it’s challenging. I often feel unsure about what others are thinking, and I find men particularly puzzling.

She thanks her close network of friends, family, and supportive people her children can turn to, especially since she doesn’t maintain relationships with her former partners.

Kimora Lee explained: ‘I’m always “the mom.”

I naturally take on a caring role for those around me. Hearing someone tell me they see me as a mother figure or their closest confidant is incredibly rewarding and what truly motivates me.

She continued expressing her relief to People that ‘life doesn’t ever revolve around a guy, ever.’

The celebrity expressed gratitude for being able to support her family in ways that many others can’t.

I truly believe who I am is the reason we succeeded and are doing well. Being strong, independent, and always striving to improve has been crucial for me.

The fashion designer is returning to reality TV with her new show, Kimora: Back In The Fab Lane, which will air on E!
