Kim Zolciak is selling her fake Christmas trees on Instagram amid ongoing financial problems
As a long-time follower of reality TV and celebrity gossip, I must admit that this latest news about Kim Zolciak and her financial struggles, as well as her romantic entanglements, has me shooketh! Growing up, I never could have imagined that the woman who once graced our screens with her peach-tastic wigs and southern charm would find herself in such a predicament.
Kim Zolciak is selling a number of fake Christmas trees amid her ongoing financial troubles.
The popular reality television personality, aged 46, is promoting the festively adorned trees (potentially her own) on Instagram.
A cast member from The Real Housewives of Atlanta – currently embroiled in a heated divorce with Kroy Biermann (aged 39) and recently cautioned by the police – posted three distinct photos showcasing festive holiday trees adorned with specific themes.
One was traditional, one was beach themed, and the final was candy cane themed.
Originally, a tree measuring 14 feet by 7 feet is being sold for $2500, an eight-foot beach tree costs $1750, while the candy cane tree is priced at $4500.
She posted the pictures on her Instagram Stories, inviting anyone who was interested to send her a direct message, as the items could be collected personally.
For the past year, Kim has been getting rid of various items she owns. This includes holding auctions for designer handbags, clothes, and even some shoes that belonged to Kroy.
Since October 2023, their luxurious home in the Atlanta region has been up for sale, initially priced at $6 million by its previous owners.
Ever since then, I’ve noticed three significant reductions in the price. Initially, it dropped to a staggering $4.5 million, followed by another decrease to $3.95 million, and most recently, it’s now at $3.65 million.
Kim and Kroy are hoping the home sells before it is sold at auction to pay off their debt on it.
This expansive, seventeen-room property (including seven bedrooms and eleven bathrooms), covering approximately 15,000 square feet, faced the possibility of a foreclosure earlier in the year due to missed mortgage payments by its owners, Zolciak and Biermann.
The auction is scheduled on December 3rd. Regardless if the house gets sold at just half of its initial asking price, it’s still significantly more than the $880,000 the couple initially spent on it back in 2012.
The couple share four young kids – Kroy ‘KJ’, 13, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia and Kane, 10.
Following an earlier warning from the police this week during their ongoing divorce dispute, they have kept a distance from one another.
As per the account provided by TMZ based on the incident report they acquired, police officers visited the residence on Monday due to a reported disagreement or intense conversation between the ex-couple that had escalated.
Previously, the socialite from Florida has claimed responsibility for covering expenses such as their children’s wardrobe and the majority of the family meals.
Kim expressed frustration, saying, “He hasn’t taken care of a household bill for quite some time now. However, he’s managed to pay two electricity bills within the past 18 months.
In that house, there isn’t any cable, water, or phone service – it’s all cut off. Absolutely nothing. That man hasn’t paid a single bill in the house. My daughter, Brielle, has contributed more financially than Kroy has. [Paraphrased]
Zolciak pointed out that the former manager, who hails from Montana, can find comfort in his $1.5 million NFL pension, a security blanket, following his years of play with the Atlanta Falcons from 2008 to 2015.
He’s doing well, but he’s saved every penny while I’ve used up all my savings caring for my loved ones,” the ex-nursing student exclaimed.
The Christmas tree sale comes after Kim fueled romance rumors with Tom Hank’s son, Chet Hanks.
Zolciak and Hanks, former co-stars from MTV’s The Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets, recently went to a Jelly Roll concert together.
There were whispers of a romantic connection between the well-known reality TV personality and the 34-year-old son of Tom and Rita Wilson, as they were seen engaging in flirtatious banter during their time on MTV’s reality series last July.
Following whispers about their potential relationship, Hanks confided to Page Six that encountering Kim Zolciak was one of the most memorable experiences he’s ever had.
The White Boy Summer rapper said he would ‘absolutely’ move in order to date Kim.
He playfully mentioned to the publication that he currently resides in Nashville, making Georgia relatively close by.
