Kim Woodburn’s Shocking Claims Against Gino D’Acampo: Inappropriate Behavior Exposed!
Kim Woodburn has criticized Gino D’Acampo for his unacceptable behavior during their time together on “I’m A Celebrity” in 2009, as he now confronts accusations of inappropriate sexual conduct.
The TV chef, aged 48, who was named the “King of the Jungle,” has been shaken by more than 40 accusations of sexually inappropriate and intimidating actions spanning a 12-year timeframe – allegations which he refutes, expressing that they are extremely upsetting to him.
As a dedicated follower, I’d like to clarify a matter that has recently come to my attention through ITN news. They mentioned accusations against me concerning inappropriate behavior, some of which date back more than a decade. However, I was unaware of these issues before now and I vehemently deny these allegations.
I always strive to avoid actions that might cause discomfort or pain to others. It’s just not in my character. The version of events presented to me doesn’t resonate. Not only have these accusations never been brought up with me before, but I’ve consistently received support from top-level executives and was featured on prime-time shows during the timeframe now claimed to be inappropriate behavior on my part.
82-year-old Kim was said to have inappropriately touched D’Acampo by running his hand through his shorts near his groin area, as he seemed distressed over being apart from his wife. His aggressive language eventually prompted producers to remove him from the camp, ultimately resulting in a controversial portrayal of events that led to his victory on ITV’s show.
She shared with The Sun: “He often positioned himself over a log and rubbed his groin area through his shorts. He would converse with this area, saying something like, ‘I understand you haven’t experienced intercourse yet, but once you leave here, the opportunities will be plentiful.’
‘He often complained that his sexual needs were being overlooked, and his wife would attend to him when he returned home. This behavior made us all feel awkward, as it was vulgar and inappropriate. It seemed disrespectful to discuss such matters openly around women. However, Gino seems to believe he has the freedom to act as he pleases.’
Kim asserted that the chef behaved disrespectfully towards the team, likening it to treating them as waste. After using offensive language towards a crew member, calling him both a “son of a bitch” and a derogatory term, he declined to depart from the filming location.
She mentioned that they temporarily halted filming when two individuals led him away by the arm, pushing him off the set towards the camp instead of dismissing him from the show. It was quite disturbing to witness.

ITV declined to comment.
D’Acampo’s TV shows have been removed from the ITV schedule because of the claims.
A woman identified as ‘Hannah’ shared with ITV News her disappointment, stating: “It’s quite disheartening. He could have publicly expressed remorse, admitted his mistakes, and taken time to contemplate his actions and allegations. Instead, what he should have done initially was apologize for causing harm to so many people. It’s typical of a bully’s behavior.
The investigation reported that numerous individuals characterized their work experience with the chef as ‘intolerable’, ‘upsetting’, and in some cases, ‘awful’.
One of the accusations includes D’Acampo commenting on a young woman’s breasts as “flawless” and “a treat,” and another claim states that he made an inappropriate suggestion to a coworker, threatening to sleep with her girlfriend if she did not fetch him ice cream.
It is said that at least one production company knew about issues concerning the actor’s behavior, but they still chose to collaborate with him on more television productions.
As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but boast about this culinary maestro who graced our screens on ITV’s Family Fortunes and more recently teamed up with Fred Sirieix for Gino and Fred: Emission Impossible!
Today, Fred shared something on social media for the first time following the emergence of allegations against D’Acampo; he uploaded a video showcasing his latest kitchen renovation.
He shared the video along with this caption: “Here’s my freshly installed @howdensjoinery kitchen! The cozy, farmhouse ambiance reminds me of my cherished grandparents.
He mentioned that he aimed to make the kitchen have a classic look, be efficient in its layout, and convenient for daily tasks – with Lamona appliances serving as the perfect finishing touch. Now it stands as a cherished area in his household, filled with memories, both old and new. What are your thoughts?
Fred remarked: “I’m delighted to introduce my brand-new Howdens kitchen. I can’t help but express my gratitude to the craftsmen who constructed it, as the quality they’ve delivered is unparalleled. To cook and entertain in this kitchen is a long-held aspiration fulfilled. However, regarding the accusations against D’Acampo, Fred has yet to comment.
He is yet to address the allegations made against D’Acampo.
A woman reported to the inquiry that D’Acampo uttered an indecent, sexually suggestive remark to her during a photo session for a magazine back in 2011.
She alleges that the renowned chef stated, “I’d prefer to flip you over and intensely romance me on the kitchen counter,” in full view of the entire team.
The woman mentioned that others in the team chuckled at his remark, leaving her embarrassed and mortified.
She remembered a gentle wave of chuckles, as others seemed to gaze anxiously into their teacups.
She expressed that the event left her with a sense of “deep fear and astonishment,” yet acknowledged that she wasn’t taken aback by the fact that no one stepped in to help.
She said the comment was ‘aggressive’ and she saw it as ‘some kind of powerplay’.
D’Acampo’s lawyers have strongly refuted this claim. They stated that this accusation, dating back nearly 15 years, was never previously brought up or addressed towards Mr. D’Acampo until it was requested by the media.
‘He does not recall it, nor accept that it happened.’
