Kim Woodburn’s loved ones ‘hit back at her co-star Aggie MacKenzie for comments about their bitter feud on How Clean Is Your House?’ following the presenter’s death

It is reported that family members of Kim Woodburn responded to the remarks made by her late TV partner, Aggie MacKenzie, concerning their longstanding dispute.

On Tuesday, at the age of 83, ‘Queen of Clean’ Kim passed away after a brief illness. Tributes have been flooding in for the beloved television personality who was deeply admired.

For several decades, she has appeared on various television shows, notably including “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!”, “Celebrity Big Brother”, and most prominently, “How Clean is Your House?” – where she co-hosted with Aggie, who was 69 at the time.

Speaking after Kim’s demise, Aggie commented: ‘Some days working with him felt like we were balancing on a high wire.’

During an interview with The Mirror, yoga instructor Aggie identified the specific point in time when her friendship with Kim began to falter.

It is said that the controversial event might have taken place during their act as the Ugly Sisters in a 2008 panto show. However, Kim’s relatives have recently disputed her account of the argument.

In my expert opinion as a lifestyle guide, during a recent performance, I noticed Kim overlooked her cue. So, in the heat of the moment, I gently touched her shoulder to remind her. We proceeded with our scene, but upon reaching the other side, an unexpected incident occurred. Kim, feeling intense frustration, gave me a hard shove that sent me tumbling down.

In that moment, I completely lost control. I became incredibly angry because she pushed me too far without warning.

As a devoted admirer, I can attest that the alleged quarrel disrupted the entire performance spectacle, causing Kim to hastily retreat to her dressing room, tears streaming down her face, and she adamantly refused to reappear onstage.

As a devoted follower, I found myself in a situation where my superiors were frantically trying to salvage our production. Yet, amidst the chaos, Kim made the decision to rejoin the limelight. Aggie expressed feelings of being both crushed and disrespected by what she perceived as Kim’s questionable conduct.

Previously, the host asserted that Kim did not offer an apology after their alleged dispute.

Although Aggie felt that the tension between them enhanced “How Clean is Your House?”, she admitted that their quarrel was the primary cause for its cancellation in the end.

Due to the increasing disagreements between Aggie and Kim, their collaboration on Channel 4’s productions became unsustainable.

After Kim’s passing, Aggie released a statement via The Daily Mail that said: ‘Kim struggled deeply, yet now she finds tranquility.’

‘Our paths crossed frequently, but beneath her tough exterior lay profound sorrow and remarkable resilience. She endured because it was necessary. I wish she finds peace now. She was a truly indelible individual.’

Kim’s passing was announced on Tuesday.
