Kim Woodburn shares heartfelt thank you to fans in final video message before her death at 83
In simple terms, Kim Woodburn expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her fans in her final video message before she passed away at the age of 83.
On Tuesday, June 16, the star known for “How Clean is Your House?” and “Celebrity Big Brother” lost her life after a brief period of illness.
On Valentine’s Day, Kim left a heartfelt message for her followers, expressing gratitude for their requests for personalized videos through the platform Cameo.
With Cameo, fans can purchase customized video greetings from well-known personalities, and Kim was a regular user of this platform.
In her most recent Instagram post, Kim Kardashian urged her followers to submit their newest Cameo requests by the 21st of February.

Apart from expressing gratitude for their assistance, she mentioned that she found joy in creating messages for others, adding that they often provided her with a good chuckle.
She expressed: “Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing great and staying healthy. I truly appreciate you inviting me to make these videos; they always brighten up my day. Many thanks!
It’s thought that Peter Woodburn has been managing Kim’s Instagram account as she’s been unwell these past few weeks.
On March 2nd, a message was posted on Kim’s account stating: ‘Unfortunately, we must inform you that Kim will be unable to create more videos in the near future, as she is dealing with a health issue.’
One user responded by implying: ‘I believe she might be secretly participating in The Traitors or I’m A Celebrity All Stars, honestly.’
‘It appears Kim isn’t feeling well – far from intelligent!’)
Kim is mourned by her husband Peter, and many paid tribute to the cherished broadcaster after hearing about her passing.
TopMob was informed by her representative: “We regretfully share the news that Kim Woodburn, whom we cherished, passed away yesterday after a brief illness. Our deepest condolences.

Kim was exceptionally warm-hearted, compassionate, captivating, and robust. Her spouse, Peter, is deeply grieving the departure of his beloved partner.
‘We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career.
Let’s give Kim’s spouse and closest companions ample time and space for their mourning process.
‘We will not be releasing any further details.’
Kim, often referred to as the “Cleanliness Queen”, gained popularity by co-hosting Channel 4’s hit show, “How Tidy is Your Home?”.
Kim went on to become a household name on ITV chat shows This Morning and Loose Women.
Apart from her films, she has appeared in several reality TV programs too. For instance, she was part of “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” back in 2009, and more recently, she participated in “Celebrity Big Brother” in the year 2017.
Over the past few weeks, Kim has been unable to fulfill her work obligations because of health issues. It’s speculated that her husband has taken over managing her Instagram account during this period.

Initially, she was providing custom video greetings to her followers through the platform Cameo at a price of £25. However, she stopped offering these videos for sale in March, as a result of health concerns.
I’m sorry to inform you that Kim won’t be able to create more videos in the near term because of a health issue. She wants to express her affection to each and every one of you. This update is based on current information.
She posted on Instagram on March 2nd: ‘I won’t be posting any new videos at the moment, as I aim to improve myself.’
Responding to her post, a fan speculated that she might be working on another TV series in secret. Her husband Peter felt compelled to clear the air once more, explaining that she was actually ill.
‘Kim is very ill – idiot,’ he commented via Kim’s account.
The last post Kim made on her Instagram before her passing was the final one, with her last appearance being in a video uploaded on February 14, which was Valentine’s Day.
I myself was recently spotted at the funeral service for the renowned RuPaul’s Drag Race star, The Vivienne, held in Denbighshire, Wales on January 27th. Accompanying me was my devoted partner, Peter.
I had the honor of joining forces with Ian ‘H’ Watkins, Jade Thirlwall, Aston Merrygold, and Claire Sweeney in a heartfelt tribute to a beloved drag queen who tragically passed away at only 32 years old on January 5, 2025.
Kim was born on March 25, 1942, and spent her childhood in Eastney, Hampshire. At 16 years old, she departed from her family home and relocated to Liverpool.
Back in 2017, she openly shared, during a chat on Loose Women, that she had been both physically and sexually abused by her own father.
Kim, originally known as Patricia Mary Woodburn, pursued a career as a social worker initially, later switching to a role as a live-in housekeeper and cleaner following her departure from home.

Through her captivating charm and extensive cleaning background, she caught the attention of Channel 4, who then invited her to co-host How Clean Is Your House? alongside Aggie MacKenzie.
Through a connection made by Channel 4 reaching out to a cleaning firm, they found an individual with prior experience and a unique personality, which led to their endorsement.
What about the title’s transformation to “How Tidy is Your Home?”? This show spanned six successful seasons, creating a massive wave of popularity and catapulting Kim into the limelight. As a result, she amassed an enormous following of devoted supporters.
Her fame from the screen led her to participate in several reality television programs, such as I’m A Celebrity, Celebrity Come Dine With Me, and Celebrity Big Brother.
Initially, she joined as a regular panelist for the spin-off show Bit on the Side of Big Brother in 2011. Later, in the year 2017, she participated in the celebrity version of the series and ended up finishing in third position.
In March 2010, Kim appeared as a participant on the TV show “Celebrity Come Dine With Me” along with Claire Sweeney, Darren Day, and Tom O’Connor.
2009 saw Kim venturing into the Australian wilderness, where she achieved significant recognition on “I’m a Celebrity.” She ended up as the first runner-up, with Gino D’Acampo taking the winning title on that particular season.
Over the past few years, I’ve found myself becoming increasingly vocal about my thoughts on popular television figures. I’ve made it a point to speak up when it comes to those in the spotlight who are facing criticism.
This February, Kim spoke out against her fellow “I’m A Celebrity” cast member, Gino, following reports of accusations towards him concerning inappropriate sexual behavior.
For more than a decade, approximately forty accusations of sexually suggestive and intimidating actions have surfaced against Gino, allegations that he refutes, stating they cause him great emotional pain.

Regarding the accusations, Kim claimed that Gino had profanity-laced outbursts which caused the production team to escort him off the set, implying that ITV’s favorable portrayal contributed to his victory.
Additionally, she asserted that Gino had been inappropriately touching himself, suggesting he ran his hand over his groin area within his pants, apparently finding it difficult to be apart from his wife while at the camp.
She shared with The Sun that he frequently stood near a log and rubbed his groin area through his shorts. He often conversed with himself about his private parts, stating, “Even though you haven’t experienced any sexual activity yet, once you leave here, there will be plenty for you.
He’d often complain about feeling overlooked and underappreciated downstairs, and his wife would attend to him upon returning home. The rest of us would typically avoid the situation. (In this context, “downstairs” refers to the male genitalia.)
I felt uneasy due to its offensive and vulgar nature. Performing such actions in the presence of women is unacceptable. However, Gino seems to believe he has the freedom to act as he pleases.
Beyond his initial assertions, Kim alleged that the chef behaved abhorrently towards the crew, treating them with contempt. Furthermore, he reportedly hurled offensive slurs at a crew member, using terms like “foul-mouthed bastard” and “vulgar c”. Despite these incidents, the chef stubbornly refused to vacate the set.
In my professional opinion, I found myself pausing production when two individuals escorted him away by his arm, leading him back to the campsite. It seemed more fitting for them to dismiss him from the show entirely. Truly, the scene was distressing.
Previously, Kim had labeled Louis Walsh as a “rude, double-faced” figure in the music industry following his appearance on the revamped edition of Celebrity Big Brother last year.

Throughout her career, she’s frequently voiced criticism towards Holly Willoughby, ITV (which she considers toxic), and the management at BBC for hiring reality TV personalities as presenters, making candid statements without mincing words.
In a well-known critique, Kim lashed out at ITV following her assertion that she had been made fun of during a memorable episode of Loose Women in August 2018.
On a daytime talk show, the TV personality had a notable disagreement with her ex-roommate from Celebrity Big Brother, Coleen Nolan.
During their stay in the Big Brother house, there was a prominent disagreement between them, and this dispute escalated even more following their appearance on Loose Women.
After Kim believed she had been subjected to bullying by Coleen and some of the other housemates, their attempt at reconciling on air ended in chaos when Kim left in anger following a fiery dispute.
2023 saw Kim looking back on her time with ITV, urging for a thorough examination. She asserted that certain shows within the network seemed to prosper off of behavior that was harsh and inconsiderate.
Kim asserted that she had been unfairly taken advantage of by ITV, and demanded they should offer a higher level of protection and support.
A representative from ITV stated to TopMob back then: “Just as we mentioned five years ago, Kim consented to be on the program with the belief that it would facilitate a reconciliation with Coleen.
It was never intended for Kim to become upset, and the panel made efforts to console her. After the show, Kim received and agreed to the support extended by ITV. Additionally, Ofcom determined that the program did not violate the Broadcasting Code.
