Kim Kardashian stuns pal Tracy Romulus as she gifts her a $100,000 Tesla Cybertruck

As a seasoned observer of celebrity lives, I must say that Kim Kardashian’s latest escapades have left me quite intrigued. From her extravagant Christmas Eve parties to her high-profile friendships and business ventures, she certainly knows how to keep us entertained.

This week, for her friend Tracy Romulus’s 45th birthday, Kim Kardashian surprised her with a $100,000 matte black Tesla Cybertruck as a gift.

The SKIMS founder, 44, shared footage of herself surprising Romulus with the new car on Thursday.

Kim positioned the high-end automobile in the driveway of her 60-million-dollar Calabasas residence, instructing Romulus to rotate.

Upon seeing the vehicle adorned with a big red bow on its bonnet, Romulus blurted out in astonishment: “Goodness gracious, Kim! Is this some kind of joke? Are you being reckless? Are you insane?

Kim, who stood nearby laughing and smiling, told Romulus that it was her birthday gift.

‘Shall we take your car tonight,’ Kim asked, before embracing her excited pal in the driveway.

Instead of calling Kim “her crazy, over-the-top best friend,” Romulus shared a fuzzy photo of the Cybertruck on Kim’s own Instagram Story.

On a video of them both admiring the Cybertruck in the driveway, Romulus posted: ‘I am completely speechless… @kimkardashian, there’s no one who does gift-giving like you. This is just beyond amazing and only you could pull it off. I adore you.’

Kim and Tracy looked to be gearing up for a girls’ night out in Los Angeles.

They coordinated for Tracy’s birthday by wearing matching black leather trench coats.

Kim made the rare move of rocking Converse sneakers as she is still recovering from a foot injury.

Along with being among Kim’s closest confidants, Tracy works closely with the billionaire.

Since the year 2017, as per her LinkedIn profile, Tracy holds the position of Executive Vice President for Communications within SKIMS, a thriving brand of shapewear founded by Kim.

In the Instagram Story clips shared on Thursday, it was noticeable that Kim had her two uniquely styled Cybertrucks, one black and one silver, parked in the distance.

In February 2024, she initially included her Cybertruck in her vehicle assortment, and later on, she expanded it with a stylish matte black variant in May.

The reality TV star is a longtime Tesla fan and recently introduced fans to her $30,0000 Tesla bot.

She posed for a bizarre Instagram photo-shoot with the droid, with one image showing her holding hands with it in a Cybertruck. 

However, she was forced to deny accusations that she was being ‘paid’ by Tesla founder Elon Musk.

Last month, a representative for Kim confirmed to The New York Times that she did not receive any financial remuneration for the photographs she posed for.

Amidst an intense promotional drive for their new winter lingerie collection, scheduled for the holiday season, Kim Kardashian surprises Tracy with something unexpected.

On Wednesday, Kim unveiled fresh, captivating campaign photos where she posed seductively atop a fur bench, wearing a minimal outfit consisting of a bra and underwear.

The Winter Heat assortment offers various essential fashion items such as thong undergarments, knitted pullovers, bralettes, and many more basic clothing pieces.

Products range in price from $16 for knit socks to $128 for an oversized hoodie.

A week ago, Kim marked the inauguration of the latest SKIMS store, which is located on New York City’s prestigious Fifth Avenue.

It marked the brand’s sixth brick-and-mortar store in the United States.

Additionally, some other places are: Washington D.C., Aventura, Florida, Austin and Houston in Texas, as well as Atlanta, Georgia.

At the New York City launch on November 12th, Kim shared insights about her family’s lavish annual Christmas Eve party.

The lavish soiree is held every year at one of the Kardashian-Jenners kids’ homes. 

Kim hosted in 2023 and turned her Calabasas mansion into a winter wonderland.

Additionally, she extended invitations to several famous personalities, among them being the 13-time Grammy Award winner Babyface, who entertained the fortunate spectators with his performance.

But Kim told Vogue that they’ll be having a more ‘intimate’ family gathering this year.

44-year-old Kim Kardashian West shared that they are opting for a quiet, scaled-down Christmas Eve celebration this year due to ongoing construction work at their home.

At present, the mother of four is working on remodeling her $60 million mansion in Calabasas, and meanwhile, her sister Khloe is busy with renovations at the property she bought beside their mother Kris Jenner’s residence in Hidden Hills.

She went on to say, “We’ve got a private family event coming up which I’m really looking forward to – we’ll still be dressed elegantly as it’s our tradition.

‘We’ve had some legendary Christmas Eve parties and they’re just beginning. Our kids love them and now all their friends want to come,’ she told the outlet, adding: ‘It’s such a fun tradition.’
