This week, she affirmed her readiness to provide testimony during the French court case involving the so-called ‘Grandpa Gang’, a group of suspected robbers charged with holding up the individual at gunpoint back in 2016. The incident is said to be the one for which she will offer testimony.

Additionally, Kim Kardashian was required to attend to another duty – the 2025 Met Gala scheduled for May 5 in New York City.

On Monday, the 44-year-old celebrity from reality TV shared on her Instagram Stories that she will be splurging on high-end skincare treatments to ensure she looks her absolute best in the coming week.

I was absolutely thrilled when I saw the image she posted, showcasing herself reclined on what seemed to be a luxurious spa bed. A gloved individual hovered over her, wielding a thick, plastic-covered gadget, which they gently placed against her cheek.

She enthusiastically shared, “I’m on my third round with @sofwavemed, and I truly believe it’s one of the few lasers effective for skin firming!

Sofwave boasts on its website that it uses non-invasive technology that has received FDA clearance.

The company claims that the technology it employs generates ultrasound waves which heat up tissue, potentially triggering a response that increases collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production. This, in turn, is said to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and signs of aging.

In the image, Kim appeared without makeup, revealing smears of gel across her face and neck from the device’s use. Moreover, no clothing was visible on her, not even above her shoulders.

Later on, she disclosed that she underwent the procedure at the 7Q Spa Laser & Aesthetic Center and shared a photo with the center’s co-founders, Noune and Lilia Serobian.

I’m a frequent visitor at that spa, and they proudly display a photograph of me (from my visit in 2024) on their homepage.

The spa doesn’t provide the exact price for the treatment, but typically, a Sofwave session that focuses on a smaller facial area tends to be over $1,000.

Instead, Kim appeared to be undergoing a full-face treatment, as her face and neck were covered in gel. This kind of treatment can cost over $4,500.

The celebrity from the Kardashian family clan hasn’t recently emerged as a promoter for the treatment, since she had already expressed her enthusiasm for it on Instagram back in February, as reported by Page Six.

‘Sofwave stimulates skin to boost collagen levels, with no recovery time needed. It effectively lifts tissues, making me want to get this treatment done all over if possible, she wrote alongside a picture showing her during the procedure.’

In a subsequent selfie, she acknowledged that it seemed to cause discomfort in her body rather than her face, which was unusual. Nevertheless, she enthusiastically expressed that it was more than worth the inconvenience.

For over a decade, Kim has showcased some of the most memorable styles at the Met Gala, and she’s graced the event with her former husbands, Kanye West, and later, her ex-boyfriend, Pete Davidson.

Every year, the grand event takes place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, serving as a charity function that helps finance the Costume Institute within the museum.

It emerged on Monday that Kim might need to revisit the distressing 2016 robbery incident where she was threatened with a gun, as a court trial for the robbery is set to start in Paris.

On October 2, 2016, she had her jewels stolen by a group of five individuals posing as police officers. These suspects were referred to in French media as the ‘Grandpa Gang’, but it’s important to note that some of those charged with the crime are relatively young and one of the defendants is a woman.

Surprisingly, it was noted that Kim displayed expensive jewelry openly in public only a few days prior to speculation about her potential testimony. This action sparked broad criticism, even from jewelry experts.

Michael Rhodes, Kardashian’s lawyer, stated that it’s quite probable that she will appear as a witness next month.

According to him, Kim Kardashian is keeping her court testimony confidential at the moment and doesn’t want to provide any additional details. However, she holds high regard and deep admiration for the French legal system, and has experienced nothing but respect from the French authorities throughout this process.

Following the publication of her post, influencer and jewelry connoisseur Julia Chafe publically criticized the reality star for showcasing her extravagant riches on Instagram by posting a video.

Although some may have disregarded the expensive trinkets adorning the SKIMS founder’s ankle, Chafe highlighted that they cost ‘more than what a typical home does.’

According to Chafe’s statement, she layered four ankle bracelets one upon another, included a tennis ankle bracelet, a striking anklet with pink sapphires and diamonds reminiscent of Princess Diana, each sapphire likely weighing about three carats, which is larger than many engagement rings available.

Chafe went on to remark that the boldness of donning costly jewels at the beach contributes to the uniqueness and extraordinary nature of the woman with four children.

What makes Kim K so fabulous, according to Chafe, is her boldness in flaunting such a large amount of money on her feet while at the beach.
