Kim Kardashian shocks fans as she debuts heel-shaped cast on broken foot

Despite the numerous injuries she’s faced this year, from a broken foot during the holidays to a finger-shattering encounter with her own bathroom door, she continues to power through with an unwavering spirit.
Kim Kardashian isn’t letting her broken left foot cramp her style.
On Tuesday, the 44-year-old celebrity from reality TV surprised her followers by sharing an image of a white sandal-like medical brace on social media.
She snapped a close-up photo of herself wearing it and eagerly shared the snap with her millions of followers on both X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
The mold crafted from gauze and thick plaster resembled a high-heeled sandal with an open toe.
On Kim, neither skin on her foot nor ankle was noticeable, yet her toes remained uncovered, highlighting her gleaming red pedicure.
The woman with four children disclosed that she fractured her foot recently this month, though she hasn’t shared details about how she sustained the injury so far.
Fans had a mixed reaction to Kim’s unusual cast.

On December 6, Kim initially announced about her fractured foot by posting a picture of her foot enclosed in a cast and a boot, accompanied by Fergie’s tune “Clumsy” playing in the backdrop and the base of crutches clearly seen.
‘FML,’ Kim wrote alongside the photo with a swearing emoji. ‘Broken foot for the holidays.’
In less than a week, Kim boarded a flight from Los Angeles to New York City to be at the inauguration of her SKIMS store on Fifth Avenue.
On Thursday, December 12, she was captured exiting the unveiling of her latest flagship store, using a black mobility scooter to move about.
Even though Kim’s foot was fractured, causing discomfort and swelling, surprisingly she chose to don the same pair of high-heels on her injured foot as she normally would when walking.
Supporters admired her for pushing through her injury and found it particularly amusing that she chose to don high-heeled shoes.
This isn’t the first time Kim has gotten injured this year.
This past summer, she suffered such severe injuries to her index and middle fingers that the bones were protruding from her skin, as she disclosed in a recent episode of her family’s Hulu reality series.
During an episode of The Kardashians in July, she clarified that the large glass door in her bathroom slides open.
‘I was shutting it and there’s no latch. You have to pull the inside of the mechanics out.’
She shared that at nine years old, Saint had rushed into the bathroom carrying chips. As she instructed him to put them aside, the bathroom door accidentally closed on her fingers instead.
She remembered saying, “I stared at my hand and suddenly collapsed,” followed by, “I quickly gripped the table and knelt down, shocked by the sight of all that blood.
Kim tried to describe the intense pain she felt when the injury happened.
She stated, “The sensation is hard to put into words, but it’s as if your entire body experiences a sudden jolt or spasm of discomfort.” She added, “It was far more intense than the pain associated with childbirth.
