Kim Kardashian reveals she has been cheated on ‘recently’ and insists she won’t date rappers or athletes again

During quickfire questions about her love life, Alex asked Kim if she had ever been cheated on.

Kim shared that she found out about the cheating much later, when her former partner confessed what happened – even though they stayed together at the time.

‘He told me, long after’, Kim said.

That happened a little while ago, not very recently, but when you’re going through a difficult time in your early twenties, it can feel like a complete emotional battle.

I always end up calling them and letting loose. After a long time without contact, a part of me that enjoys confrontation takes over just to make the call, and then I feel a sense of relief.

However, Kim explained she has learned to temper her reactions over the years with age.

She admitted she was going through a difficult time, adding, ‘It just feels like, what’s the point of it all?’

Kim said she felt stuck ending the relationship, as he was struggling with his own well-being.

She explained she felt stuck because she didn’t believe the other person was ready to handle the news if she ended things. She didn’t want to share that information with them at that time.

The environment felt unstable, so I wasn’t sure how to react and needed time to understand what was really going on.

Kim also shared that she’s definitely open to getting married again, as long as she finds the right person.

She confirmed she would definitely marry again, adding that she doesn’t believe she has a particular preference in partners anymore. She feels her perspective has changed.

‘If you had to pick today are you going rappers or athletes’, Alex asked.

Kim explained that she doesn’t believe anyone – not even lawyers or scientists specializing in extending lifespan – will reveal all of their knowledge to her.

However, the situation quickly changed when Kanye, who has openly discussed his mental health challenges, started to criticize Kim and her family.

She explained that when someone is first struggling with their mental health, it’s important to be really supportive, help them understand what’s happening, and just be there for them.

Look, as someone who’s spent years helping people build better lives, I’ve learned that growth is essential in any relationship. When a partner consistently refuses to make positive changes – changes that would genuinely improve our well-being – it creates a really tough situation. It’s hard to stay in a dynamic that feels unhealthy or even damaging when one person isn’t willing to work on things together. Ultimately, I need someone who’s committed to growth, and when that’s missing, it’s a sign the relationship might be toxic and unsustainable.

Kim, a mother to North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5) with Kanye, explained that having children made it difficult for her to end the relationship. She stayed hoping Kanye would improve.

Kanye West was hospitalized for mental health reasons in 2016 and received a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. However, he later stated that he believed the diagnosis was incorrect.

When things didn’t get better, Kim realized it was time to leave and demonstrate healthy boundaries for her children.

Looking back, I really understood what she meant when she talked about her mental health during her marriage. She had to prioritize herself, she said, to be the best mom she could be for all of us. It was about self-preservation, and she truly believed we’d all get it as we got older and could see the bigger picture.

When asked what finally made her decide enough was enough, she explained that it wasn’t one specific thing, but rather a build-up of issues she simply couldn’t tolerate anymore.

I was really hurt by the negative things people said about my children’s grandmother and aunts. If someone can’t respect my family, then we just aren’t a good fit. It’s upsetting when private matters are discussed publicly like that.

Kim explained that she didn’t feel emotionally or financially secure, describing a time when, during her ex-husband’s outbursts, all five of their Lamborghinis would sometimes disappear from their home.

I was shocked to find out all our cars were gone, including my new one. Apparently, he had given them all to his friends.

It was a crazy cycle. I’d go back to his place, and for a while, he’d have even *more* Lamborghinis – we’re talking five extra! But then he’d have another one of his episodes, and just like that, they’d all disappear again. It was heartbreaking to watch.

It was unsettling not knowing what Kanye would do or say next. It felt like things were constantly unstable.
