Kim Kardashian pays tribute to iconic ‘breaking the internet’ photo a decade later at Skims Christmas party
As an ardent fan of the Kardashians, I must say that Kim Kardashian never fails to surprise us with her audacious moves! Ten years after breaking the internet with her iconic nude photo, she’s back at it again, this time donning a crimson dress and a boot. Talk about making an entrance at a Christmas party!
At her Skims holiday gathering, Kim Kardashian reenacted her famous ‘shattering-the-web’ naked image from earlier.
Over the weekend, the popular reality TV figure, who is 44 years old, shared pictures from her recent get-together, featuring her casually holding a drink while posing on her well-toned backside. These photos were taken during the event earlier in the week.
She was grinning broadly, celebrating the fact that it had been ten years since her cover photo for Paper magazine became widely popular in 2014.
Accompanying images displaying her toned physique, the creator of Skims, who donned a snug red dress highlighting her leg and derriere, merely captioned a present-wrapped box.
She exaggeratedly curved her spine to display her rear end, with just an arm visible in the shot, someone was casually raising a martini above it.
In 2014, Kardashian showcased a revealing look by posing nude for the cover of the winter edition of Paper magazine.
She was thoroughly coated in oil and donned a strapless, shimmering dress adorned with sequins. At some stage, she removed this dress to take unveiled photographs showcasing her back.
During that period, Kardashian was yet to separate from her then-husband Kanye West, and it’s said she planned for the bold photo shoot before conceiving another child.
Recently, she’d welcomed her first-born, her oldest daughter North, who is now 11 years old, and was eager to flaunt the changes in her physique following childbirth and subsequent weight loss.
She along with the rapper subsequently had daughter Chicago, who is now six years old, as well as sons Saint, currently aged nine, and Psalm, aged five.
The marriage between the Kardashians and West lasted six years, ending when they filed for divorce in February 2021. It took nearly two more years for their divorce to be officially finalized.
On Paper’s website, the photographs were revealed, accompanied by a note discussing her popularity and celebrity status.
For our winter edition, we set a challenge for ourselves: Shatter the internet’s tranquility. We can’t imagine anyone else capable of accomplishing this feat better than Kim Kardashian West.

More than a decade following the viral impact of her famous photograph, she reenacted the same pose, a position that photographer Jean-Paul Goude had previously mimicked from his renowned Champagne Incident shoot. Remarkably, she did this while sporting an orthopedic boot.
Lately, the businesswoman had an unfortunate incident resulting in a broken foot. She hasn’t shared much detail about the occurrence or explained exactly how it happened.
The scooter she was using to get around was also seen in the corner of her Instagram post.
On one foot, she wore the boot and on another, she sported a see-through, nylon mule.
With a sleek black gown, she arranged her rich, wavy hair and added a delicate pendant necklace shaped like a cross to her ensemble.
At her recent get-together for the holidays, several relatives attended, including her family members. A picture she shared on the weekend captures her with her sister Khloe Kardashian and their mom, Kris Jenner.
