She jokingly pointed out on Instagram that while she portrays a lawyer on television, she doesn’t actually have a law degree.

I’ve been studying law for six years now, and I’m completely committed to passing the bar exam. I’m not looking for any easy way out – I’m focused on hard work and staying determined until I succeed.

Kim began a four-year apprenticeship at a San Francisco law firm in 2018. She studied for and passed the baby bar exam in 2021 after three attempts.

She also reportedly passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) in March.

I was really surprised to hear about Kim sharing her exam results early! From what I understand, she did it because she wanted to be upfront and honest with all of us fans, and didn’t want to keep it a secret. It’s nice to see that kind of transparency, even if it wasn’t the conventional thing to do.

According to someone familiar with the situation, Kim chose to announce the news before it was officially released on Sunday because she’s always been honest about what she’s going through and anticipated her fans would be eager to know.
