Kim Kardashian gives special shout-out to incarcerated firefighters battling deadly LA fires

This week, devastating wildfires such as the Pacific Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire ignited early on Tuesday, fueled by powerful winds. As reported by NBC News, the number of fatalities has reached 16 by Saturday.
She wrote, “For the past week, I’ve been witnessing my city in flames. I’ve encountered numerous firefighters working tirelessly throughout the night, exerting all their energy to protect our neighborhood.
I’d like to express my gratitude to both the County Fire Department (@calfire) and the Los Angeles City Fire Department for their tireless efforts in protecting lives, homes, and properties.
In a subsequent slide, the reality TV personality commented, ‘Across the five fires in Los Angeles, numerous imprisoned firefighters are bravely putting their lives on the line to rescue us.’
Kardashian expressed that they are ‘working 24 hour shifts’ on both the Palisades and Eaton Fires.
‘These individuals barely earn anything, yet they put their own lives on the line, with some even losing their lives in the process. Their dedication to serving as first responders is a testament to their transformation within the community. To me, they are true heroes.’
She told her audience that firefighters who are imprisoned have been receiving $1 per hour since 1984 for putting their lives on the line.
Kim emphasized that it had never been discussed in relation to inflation. He also added that it was never brought up as the situation worsened, with more lives lost due to fires.
This year, I had high hopes for an increase in wages for incarcerated firefighters to $5 per hour. However, unfortunately, at the last moment, these plans were rejected.

Finally, the mother of four also expressed her thanks to the firefighters who aided in safeguarding her neighborhood, which was at risk due to the Kenneth Fire that ignited on Thursday.
Kim and her family temporarily left their homes in Calabasas and Hidden Hills because of the fire, however, the evacuation advisory was subsequently withdrawn.
It’s reported that the Kenneth Fire has been contained to 80%, and an arson suspect has been apprehended recently, leading to a heated response from Khloe Kardashian on various social platforms.
