Kim Kardashian flashes painful-looking tattoo she got inside her lip to celebrate a milestone

Kim Kardashian showed off a tattoo she got inside her lip four years ago.

The SKIMS founder flashed the inking when on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday. 

As a huge fan, I noticed something interesting! Kim has actually shown off this birthmark before, way back on her show *The Kardashians* last year. And with the NikeSKIMS launch happening later this week, it’s been on my mind again – she’s been teasing it a lot! It’s cool to see her embracing it.

After hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time in October 2021, the singer quietly got a small tattoo on her lip.

While getting her hair styled by Chris Appleton on her reality show, Kardashian surprised viewers by saying, ‘You guys, there’s something I haven’t told you,’ and then showed them a dark mark inside her lip.

“It’s an infinity sign,” she said. “When did you get that?” Appleton, who is forty, asked. Kardashian explained, “It was the night I hosted SNL. My friends and I all got matching tattoos, and everyone got theirs on their hands. I specifically said there was no way I was getting a tattoo!”

She was then seen laying down while getting inked. She still had on her pink outfit from SNL. 

Kardashian repeatedly exclaimed in disbelief, ‘I finally put a bumper sticker on a Bentley!’ She clenched her fist as she said it, clearly shocked and excited.

During a 2009 interview with Wendy Williams, Kim Kardashian was asked if she had any tattoos. Kardashian playfully responded by comparing herself to a luxury car, saying, ‘Would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?’

Kardashian went on to share that ‘no one knows’ about the inking. ‘No one sees it. I forget,’ she said. ‘But every once in a while I’ll be flossing my teeth and I’ll see black and I’ll go, “[Gasps] What’s this black in my mouth?”‘

Also on the show Kim was asked if she is dating anyone; she replied no.

The TV star and her former husband, West, share four children: North, who is 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6.

She’s also been romantically linked to several famous people, including comedian Pete Davidson and football player Odell Beckham Jr.

Earlier this year on Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kim mentioned she was secretly seeing someone new, but she didn’t share who it was.

I actually wanted to be single and was pretending otherwise,” Kim Kardashian admitted. “The idea that I didn’t want a relationship or any affection? That’s just not true – you don’t really know me if you think that.

Kim mentioned she had a dinner date and was also building a closet for the person she was with, keeping their identity a secret.

Kris Jenner, Kim’s mother, also shared her thoughts on the relationship and mentioned she was going to assist with building a closet for them.

‘You must really like him,’ the momager said, with Kim responding with, ‘He’ll be happy.’

In December of last year, a source told Us Weekly that Kim Kardashian had begun dating someone new but was keeping the relationship private.

The insider added, ‘She’s said the next person she dates will be someone who isn’t famous.’ 

Kim recently appeared on The Tonight Show and confirmed she is currently not in a relationship.

Throughout the show, the TV star received support from her mother, Kris, and sister, Khloe Kardashian, who were both seated close to the audience.

Kim appeared to get upset with her mother while remembering a cringeworthy blind date Kris had arranged for her a long time ago.

At the time, Kim thought she was going to a job interview, not a date.

The SKIMS founder said that the momager ‘told me I had a business – I had a job interview.’

Kim said the blind date happened before they started filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Her mom suggested she go to The Ivy, a popular restaurant in Los Angeles, for the date.

A TV executive approached me and said it was a job interview, but she presented it as a date to someone else.

Okay, so I was *dying* to hear how she finally met with him! Apparently, she told me she went straight to the restaurant and then, finally, she got to tell him all about my idea – what *I* want to do, you know? It was everything! I’ve been waiting for this moment forever.

Kim shared that she actually had a resume with her, which got a laugh from the audience. She didn’t think the interviewer expected her to be so prepared. She figured things out after about five minutes into the interview.

I couldn’t believe it when Jimmy jumped in like that! He was totally joking, but he playfully handed me his ‘resume’ and said he was going to date me, then started listing his accomplishments – it was all meant to be funny, but I definitely blushed! It was a bit embarrassing, honestly, but in a cute way.

‘I was like, “I’m going to kill you,”‘ Kim said, referencing to her mother.

The talk show host asked how the date went, and the TV personality replied that they hadn’t felt any connection with the other person.

Jimmy asked Kris for her thoughts, and she replied that the person in question was fully aware, being an Emmy winner himself.

However, Kris was stopped mid-sentence as Kim called out, ‘Mom, can you stop!’

The audience erupted in laughter when the talk show host playfully covered his face in response to something that happened.

Kris refused to say the person’s name, but recounted what he’d been asked: “Would bringing my Emmy help?”

While still giggling, Jimmy asked, ‘What?’ while Khloe cut in to say, ‘That’s a red flag.’

Kris said the TV executive was joking, but she also realized then that he and her daughter, Kim, weren’t a good match and wouldn’t last.

She also tried to set me up with someone who believed winning an Emmy would be the ultimate sign of success, she explained, glancing at Kris.

Jimmy wondered if Kris recognized the person and if they were now friends.

But Kris simply responded with, ‘I plead the fifth.’
