Kim Kardashian finally spoke up about North West’s appearance in FKA Twigs’ music video “Childlike Things,” following criticisms from certain fans who considered the scene inappropriate.

On Thursday, the well-known personality from reality TV, aged 44, posted some exclusive backstage clips from a music video production on her Instagram.

The mother of four, who is currently involved in a heated conflict with her former partner Kanye West (aged 47), further shared that she feels ‘proud’ of her 11-year-old child.

In the caption of her post, she expressed her joy by saying, ‘I’m so proud of my little one,’ while she additionally posted more videos of North on her Stories.

The blossoming singer appeared in the video, performing rap songs in Japanese with Twigs, both dressed in white fur coats.

The future-oriented style of the North was adorned with white spectacles, a hefty silver pendant necklace, and assorted silver accessories.

North also sported long manicured nails for the video. 

Following an uproar from fans earlier today, triggered by a sneak peek of her long video that Kim posted, it was formally released on Thursday.

In early January, it came as a shock when North suddenly demonstrated her impressive rapping skills in Japanese on one of the tracks from the British artist’s third studio album titled EUSEXUA.

One stated, ‘I imagined it would be full of shimmer and light under the title “Childlike Things”. However, it appears to be more mysterious and ominous, which gives me a sense of unease. In fact, it left me feeling slightly queasy.’

On the other hand, some people spoke up in defense of Kim and her daughter, expressing their confusion about the negative sentiment surrounding that particular song, as one person put it: “I just don’t understand the hate for this track.

North composed her own poetry, it was neither explicit nor inappropriate for a child, and she was appropriately dressed as well. So what’s the problem? The child finished eating. They carried on with their conversation.

And over on Instagram, another fan added, ‘She kinda ate,’ while one penned, ‘She’s slayinggggggg.’

‘Awe she’s like her mommy with so many talents she can’t even begin to name them,’ another wrote. 

However, there were varying views about the social media platform, as one person wrote, ‘This is certainly not going to reach 1.2 million likes on Instagram.’

The characteristic of the song from North was initially unveiled in January, as FKA Twigs shared her third studio album titled EUSEXUA.

Through a judge’s intervention, the reality star has asked for restrictions to prevent the children from witnessing such conduct.

Additionally, Kanye expressed through various posts on X that he disapproved of North working with Playboi Carti, following his exclusion from the said project.

Beyond expressing his frustration, the rapper also criticized Kim for having control over their shared children, stating last week, “It seems Kim has the rights to the names and resemblance of my children who are of African descent.
